Recently she baked me my wedding cake and it was completely personalized and unique to all the requests that myself and my wife requested. She even personally delivered it to the wedding venue and coordinated with venue staff on the day of my wedding. I highly recommend stopping in for a variety of brownies/cookies/etc or for bigger event like a wedding cake!“

“I just had a “Celebration of Life” for my mother in NY… I live out of state. This business is trustrustworthy and awesome… the items ordered were absolutely delicious( everyone was asking where I purchased from)…it was my pleasure to share my experience…they were so accommodating to my requests, delivery was perfect and on time…they even called to make sure I was satisfied. “We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Layers Bakeshop is hands down my favorite bakery. The first time I ever had Layers was actually in Pakistan, so it already held a special place for me. Later on, a close friend introduced me to the U.S. locations and fun fact, she and her brother actually own the franchise. They’ve truly done an amazing job with every store so far.

I’ve been to about three Layers locations, and while the Elmont Layers Bakeshop location is the smallest one, it’s also the closest to me, which makes it my go-to. The quality, presentation, and consistency are always on point.

Honestly, I love almost everything from this bakery, but right now my absolute favorite is anything Lotus-flavored you really can’t go wrong with it. The desserts are rich, balanced, and never disappoint.

I also noticed they’ve started making candles, which is such a smart and creative addition to the brand. It just shows how much thought they put into expanding beyond desserts while keeping the same aesthetic and quality.

If you haven’t tried Layers yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend stopping by especially the Elmont location if you’re nearby.“

“This place is great, they make amazing grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches. I wish they had tomato soup to go with the grilled cheese, but hey, can't have everything. The cookies and sweets are to die for. Stop in, grab a cookie, have a sandwich. The staff are super awesome. They're closed on Mondays though. The rest of the week though, they open. Limited seating, so maybe do a grab and run. This local business is great. Stop in.“

“I ordered a cake for my mother's bday the day before and not only was Mz Honeyz Treats able to complete the order with a fast turn around time, the product that was delivered was stunning to say the least (both tastewise and visually). Not only was it a pleasure to support a black owned business but a good business in general that is conveniently located just around the corner from me. And for the fact that she offers vegan options, needless to say I will be a repeat customer. Thank you very much again and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality product!

“We've ordered a couple custom cakes from NY Cupcakery and have always had a great experience! Most recently, we ordered a strawberry unicorn cake for our daughter's birthday. The cake was so delicious and cute! We also love getting cupcakes from here as special treats. We definitely recommend them!“

“It's so beneficial that this location is now always open until 1am. They are always kind to me when I visit this establishment. The vibes are always on point, just like the music;). The ice cream is always stacked high and even if the ice cream is low they will get it from the back with no issues. I highly recommend this ice cream spot to all looking for a late night snack, or just a snack whenever!“
