“My son and I are a HUGE fan of Bungalow East !! But last nights experience there was beyond amazing ! My friends threw me a surprise birthday dinner in the upstairs room… the waitress Megan was PHENOMENAL!!! As a waitress myself I was blown away by her ! She was truly AMAZING !! She was so accommodating, kind and made the whole atmosphere of the night lively and fun!! She also was a great photographer capturing the whole night for me!! Always a great time at bungalow but Megan truly went above and beyond to make the night special ! Food was great too !“

Bagelville is spacious, and there's always room to sit down and read the paper with your bagel and a coffee; that is if you're old school like that. The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. “Been going to daily dose juice bar down at 111-15 Farmers Blvd, St. Albans and I don’t plan on stopping. Their food items are seriously life changing! From the friendly staff to the organic smoothies, and etc all bring joy throughout my day. I always buy a drink from there on my way to work but my favorite has GOT to be the chicken and waffles. The crispy and tender texture of the chicken is beyond exhilarating!! Waffles are done at the perfect level where they are fluffy and delicious. I love eating from here and like I said I do plan on stopping. COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A SOME GOOD FOOD!!

“I cannot say enough good things about Brain Food Palace in Long Island! I recently ordered their fruit and veggie platters for our work lunch, and they were absolutely stunning. The presentation was next-level from the vibrant mix of fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded carrots, to the meticulously arranged fruits like strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, grapes, oranges, and cantaloupe. They even added a carved pineapple center that made the platter look like a piece of art!

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

The most recent Frappe that I had should be called “Heaven in a cup” because that’s literally what it tasted like. The chocolate and other items were absolutely delicious. She is management material to me with the best customer service I've seen so far. One kid asked me why I be coming so late near closing. I found that to be distasteful. “All vegan except for fish, which is kept on a separate steam table. The food is all pre-made and kept hot on a steam table, so service is quick. The service is extremely friendly, and the workers are happy to explain the dishes to you. They are also knowledgeable about what is soy-free/spicy/etc. The medium plate was $16.50 and the food is so good that you will think about the meal months later. It was worth every penny. I cannot wait to go back!“

“I am a frequent customer at bayabar Oceanside. I came to this one and had a bad experience. The curly hair girl that works there isn’t friendly at all. I saw them make my bowl wrong and when I addressed that they forgot coconut, didn’t put peanutbutter and that they had added honey they looked annoyed. Instead of remaking my bowl they decided to add coconut and peanutbutter on top of the honey. This was without consulting if I had a honey allergy. When I brought the bowl home there was barely any peanubutter and BARELY ANY ACAI BASE!

One of the owners Marco contacted me after this happened and was super nice and understanding. He refunded me and ensured that that would never happen again. I definitely will give this location another shot because of how nice the owner is and how well he handled the situation.“
