Food was excellent. Service very good and attentive. Small place, about a dozen tables or so. Went early in the evening so easy to get a table right away
Wonderful intimate neighborhood spot! Very good Italian food; fresh sauce, great breads and large varied menu. Great service. Nice and quiet!!

Taste of Italy is a restaurant offering excellent, well-priced food with great service. The menu includes a good selection of Italian dishes. Starters include a fresh pear salad with gorgonzola and a basket of warm bread and butter. Main courses feature clams with spaghetti, gnocchi with chicken cutlet, Risotto al Funghi, Chicken Francaise, and pizza that is fresh and flavorful. The tartufo with expresso and one of the BEST cappuccinos are top shelf desserts. The atmosphere is cozy with a nice vibe, and the dining room is decent. The staff are friendly, attentive, very kind, and trustworthy; one guest accidentally left a purse, and the staff kept it safe. As an Italian guest noted, the plates are nostalgic of childhood and bring back memories of Sicily. This place is not only a take out place but also offers a fair priced dinner served by nice people. It is a solid spot for a casual night out and definitely worth a visit.
