Margaritas Cafe Reviews
Local Long Beach Mexican restaurant. Parry of 4 ordered & shared shrimp/steak fajitas, taco salad & cod tacos. Chips were crispy. Food was good & sufficient for our party. Service was attentive. Everyone was happy with their meals.
Good food, great drinks, excellent service! We were also fortunate enough to have a live band playing 80s and 90s pop... overall great experience... Will go again!

Margaritas Cafe is a Mexican restaurant that offers delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant provides a great experience for various occasions, such as birthday dinners or date nights. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy complimentary warm chips and salsa with a kick of spice and flavor.
The menu features standout dishes like the chicken soup, filled with meat, vegetables, and rich taste. The chicken fajitas are highly recommended, with perfectly cooked chicken, flavorful wraps, and a generous portion. While the dish is filling, customers may still find room for the enticing dessert options. The food at Margaritas Cafe often reminds guests of authentic Mexican flavors, especially the taquitos, which taste very good and bring back familiar memories. The drinks are consistently tasty, making them a favorite for many visitors, with the passionfruit sangria receiving particular praise.
The staff is attentive, ensuring orders are accurate and timely. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with nice decor and a cozy environment, making it an ideal "go-to" spot for future visits. The bar area is also nice, with a small stage that sometimes hosts live music. On a holiday weekend, the restaurant was clean and quiet, with plenty of parking available across the street. Staff were friendly, although they didn’t check on guests often or refill water, which was noted as a small drawback. The menu prices vary depending on whether paying with cash or credit.
Some experiences have been mixed; for example, a seafood paella was described as just okay, with a lack of flavor and pieces of broken clam in the rice, which was disappointing. However, other visits featured great food, friendly service, and enjoyable ambiance, despite occasional loud salsa music or lively celebrations that can make the atmosphere lively and noisy. Overall, Margaritas Cafe offers good food and drinks, friendly staff, and a cozy environment, making it a popular choice for many.
