The Surf Room Event Venue

I've only been there once, attended a baby shower. The room was nice ,it had a three section lounge area & held about 12 tables to which around eight to ten people could sit white wash design.The bathroom was close by. It had a bar area space to dance and a area for your food to be served. nice atmosphere.

Awful service and very rude staff! They didn't even have menus for us when they seated us and we had to ask for water. The apps were pretty good but my skirt steak was inedible. I was choking on it, that's how dry and overlooked it was. I asked for some sauce for it and told the waiter how dry it was but he didn't offer to switch it and he forgot to bring the sauce for 10-15 minutes so but the time we reminded him, the steak was then cold, over cooked and dry. The food was amazing! It's gourmet fare, great ambience in a beautiful setting. Manhattan quality kosher restaurant in Long Beach. Everything was perfect and the staff were great. There was a slight delay in our main courses because the kitchen was serving a wedding in the hotel and the staff came over to us to apologize, gave us free drinks and the wait was nothing compared to the typical wait in restaurants near us.
