I liked the common living room and the cafe. There were really clean, spacious and well equipped with seating facilities. Most of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and ready to help. The beds were of good quality and we were provided with a locker to store our valuables. Common kitchen was a bit messy. I booked a room at the last minute after my flight was cancelled, and was so impressed with everything about The Local. They were so helpful and accomodating, from my initial phone call, to letting me check in early when a room became available, to booking a cab to the airport early in the morning, at their discounted rate. Early check in is allowed. Baggage storage is allowed. Very nice staff. About five minutes to subway and bus stop.
