Great spot for late-night BBQ! The skewers were flavorful, nicely grilled, and came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere was casual and lively, making it a good place to hang out with friends. Would definitely come back for another late-night meal.
Their beef and lamb skewers are really good. I’d probably skip the chives and cauliflower, though. The skewers have a very authentic, rustic Chinese flavor.
Really enjoyed my visit to Afternoon BBQ in Long Island City. We ordered a great variety of dishes, including the beef big skewers, BBQ lamb leg, roasted beef bone marrow, tin foil pig brain, roasted cauliflower, quail eggs, spicy pork knuckles, and chicken hearts.

The beef and lamb skewers are flavorful and nicely seasoned, while the bone marrow is rich and satisfying. The grilled rice cakes are crispy outside and chewy inside and are definitely a must-try. The bold, spicy BBQ flavor is exactly what spicy food lovers want, and there is also a sweeter, Korean-style seasoning for those who don't eat spicy food. A cold Sapporo pairs perfectly with the BBQ, and beer and standard Coke products are available in a cooler. The waitstaff is incredibly accommodating. Afternight BBQ is a great spot for late-night food, especially after a night of dancing or drinking, and is definitely worth checking out for skewers in a casual, low-key setting.
