New Grand Buffet & The Mighty Crab is a restaurant offering a mix of buffet-style dining with a variety of Asian-American and Western comfort foods. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, with clean dining areas and a lively environment filled with families and couples. The buffet features a wide selection of dishes such as General Tso’s chicken, fried rice, pizza, mashed potatoes, tacos, and more, making it a good spot for those who want to try a little of everything. The food is generally considered average in flavor—nothing too exciting but satisfying enough for a hearty meal, especially if one is very hungry.
Many reviews highlight the affordability and variety of the buffet, making it a convenient choice for a quick lunch or dinner. The price point is around $25 per person, which is seen as reasonable considering the amount of food available. The restaurant’s open layout and friendly staff are appreciated, although some customers feel that the service charge is a bit excessive, as it is added automatically and sometimes perceived as a money grab. Some mention that service can be hit or miss, with some enjoying attentive staff, while others see the mandatory service charge as unnecessary, especially when customers serve themselves.
The food at New Grand Buffet & The Mighty Crab is not authentic Chinese but offers a satisfying, Americanized version of Asian dishes and comfort foods. Overall, it’s a place suitable for those looking to eat a lot in a casual setting, with quick, plentiful options that appeal especially to families, groups, or anyone craving a variety of comfort foods at a decent price.
