“Consistently voted best Italian restaurant in the capital region. For good reason! Amazing quality, taste and portions, all at at a very reasonable price.
We enjoyed chicken frangelica and veal sorrento. The chicken was beautiful with a hazelnut flavor and sauce. The veal was also excellent, tender and served with pasta and red sauce.
We also had an appetizer, greens and beans, enough for 4 people and DELICIOUS! Desert was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, so moist! With a wine the bill was under $100.00

“Absolutely wonderful experience! I took 12 employees out to celebrate the holiday season and see a show in Albany. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back when in the Albany area. (I may even have to make a special trip back just for this restaurant!)“

“We stumbled on the place by chance and were not disappointed. The bartender, Jill was very friendly. Our meals were full of flavor. My husband got the chicken parm and I the barramundi. Finished by a tiramisu martini with a side of tiramisu. Sooooo good. We will definitely go back! Oh! The fresh bread and olive oil topped with tapenade was delish as well!“

“I was going to gatekeep this but it's too special not to share. We went to Villa di Como and everything from start to finish was delicious. We started with cocktails made with their house made limoncello and orangecello, for apps we got the rice balls, garlic bread, calamari, broccoli rabe, and prosciutto and arugula pizza. We should have stopped there because it was more than enough food for four people. But we went on a tour and got more. We added the porchini mushroom pasta special, the Margherita pizza, frutti di mare pasta and pasta carbonara. Every dish was flavorful and made with attention to detail and love. We were all rotating plates bc it was sooo good. The pasta, sauce, cream, butter and oil tasted like nothing I've ever had locally. We had another round of drinks made with their in house orangecello, cheesecake and espresso ice cream for dessert.
Villa di Como is an intimate, clean and authentic space where you won't be disappointed. The food and cocktails were a 10 out of 10 for everyone. It's spotless, organized and the bathroom is maintained very well. They also have items that they make in house for you to experience at home. The service was top tier. Be sure to ask for Matteo or sit right at the bar. This will be a place that I frequent. 🧡🤌🏿“

The price of the food is very fair compared to other shops. I don’t want cold cuts everyday but I only purchase the Boar’s Head brand that is used for their subs.“

I hadn’t been in awhile- used to go frequently, so I grabbed a to-go order of their excellent fettuccini bolognese and some bruschetta to take home after a very long drive- ❤️❤️❤️and had a glass of wine at their friendly and comfortable bar while I waited. It’s 100 degrees outside- so I wasn’t dressed (shorts and an ocean city tee lol) but it was early.. so I popped in to wait for my order. From reception to bar to the chef popping out with my order- to the other lovely guests who were popping in as well and enjoying banter and kind conversation.. the bartender primo making everyone happy- I can’t tell you how much that atmosphere warms my soul. Good people, great food, no pretensions, phenomenal service.. and I can attest from so many previous visits- a warm and inviting dining room where when they have music you never want to leave. “I recently hosted my baby/bridal shower at Paolo’s, and the brunch buffet was absolutely fantastic. There was an impressive variety of options that truly had something for everyone, from classic breakfast favorites like eggs, bacon, French toast, and fresh fruit to delicious lunch offerings like pasta primavera, garden salad, and our entrée selections of chicken Milanese and eggplant rollatini. Everything was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The two servers assigned to our event were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the celebration. “We had a really good experience at Ralph’s. It was a quaint little place that has obviously been in business for a long time. The staff was friendly. The place was clean and welcoming. Started off with medium buffalo wings and french fries with beef gravy. For dinner I had a half portion of penne with two meatballs and one hot sausage. My wife had the fish fry with french fries. The french fries were cooked exceptionally well crispy on the outside soft on the inside. The beef gravy was delicious and salty. Just like I expected definitely homemade. My half portion of pasta was definitely more than enough for one person the meatballs were tender, and the sausage was flavorful. I got it with the marinara sauce, which was a little spicy to my surprise, but it was still good. My wife enjoyed the fish fry said it was delicious in the cocktail sauce and tartar sauce was good. The wings in my opinion are one of the best in the area. Great flavor cooked exceptionally well crispy on the outside tender on the inside indefinitely fresh it’s a must try if you like chicken wings. We also ordered a sheet pizza to go with Italian sweet peppers and sausage turned out to be delicious. We heated it up the next day. It’s a must try for looking for a good place for dinner. That’s not very expensive but has good quality food. Recommend giving it a try.“

“So this was my first time here…we had a birthday celebration for my boss! About 13 people. Reservations were for 6:00pm. I came about 15 minutes late, and some people had drinks already. We waited for our waitress to return and it was almost 1/2hr. She took our second drink order, and seemed annoyed. The restaurant was very busy (which we were told by other servers) another 1/2hr pasted and finally she took our food orders. At this point, we were very hungry and disappointed-I guess our server had another big table.. So our salads were dropped off but another female server (who seemed very professional and much nicer than our original server) After that things seemed better. Food was good! I just thought about the customer service of the first waitress. She seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I work in customer service (which is very important especially for first impressions) would i recommend this restaurant yes, food was good. Service was not so great.“

“They have a nice happy hour. Good deals on food and drinks. It gets crowed and the happy hour only applies to bar seating. It should cover the high tops in the bar too, you have to stand around at the bar to get food and drinks, if there’s no bar seats available. Even know plenty of high tops are right there and empty.“

“Great place to stop when passing through Albany for some quick fresh Italian food take-out for the whole family. Seriously, forget the Thruway rest areas. If you have kids whose staple food is boiled noodles and butter, no matter the time nor the day, Bellini's will satisfy, and won't break the bank. Without a Noodles & co around for at least 100 miles, Bellini's has you covered, and is a must-stop for us. I can also recommend the meatballs and sausage.“

Ordered a large pizza and watched it sit there on the counter getting cold because the server was MIA. I was going to walk over there and pick it up myself, but I flagged down the other server who did it for me. Same thing when I asked for the check. I could see if the place was busy and they were understaffed, they weren’t. As far as the food goes, mediocre at best. The “large” pizza was actually small and we left there hungry. “I visit there about 4-5 times a month to grab a bite to eat, I usually get the lasagna dinner or their hot subs. Hands down the best in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. when in the area a must stop it won't disappoint!“
