My kids love the Cauliflower pizza and my winter favorite is their chicken and rice soup. I am currently on their juice cleanse, the juices are tasty. I am already feeling more energized. I needed a winter reset after sickness hit our house. This is just what I needed! “The best pitaya bowl I have ever tried. SUPER FRESH. The fruit toppings were very fresh as well. Babies love it as well, just buy it without the toppings. The fresh mango they used for topping was the best I have ever had. I wonder where they buy their mangoes. Very convenient location, on the avenue. I put my pitaya bowl in the fridge overnight, as it was just as delicious de-frosted.“

The woman who helped me was patient and super sweet. I can’t give them 5 stars because a male employee was behind the counter blowing his nose heavily into a paper towel and proceeded to go back to work without washing his hands. Had my drink not been pre made, I would have left. Atmosphere was chill.“

“Such a great addition to downtown White Plains! Went there for salads today and they were amazing. Fresh ingredients, great combo and choices and dressing with so good (sweet and smoky chipotle). Selection of smoothies and bowls also look good. Interior is clean and bright with some seating. Prices are reasonable compared to similar places. Staff was friendly. Definitely our new go to salad place and so convenient!“

“I recently visited Lucky Penguin for the first time and had the pleasure of trying their matcha crepe, while my friend opted for the Ferrero Rocher rolled ice cream. Let me tell you, the matcha crepe was a revelation - it's easily one of the best I've ever had. Special thanks to the young man working there who recommended it to me; he really knows his stuff! The customer service was outstanding as well; they even gave me extra sauce topping for free. Yum! Lucky Penguin is a must-visit for dessert lovers.“

There’s hot and cold beverage options such as iced coffee, smoothies - as well as bottled/can options like soda and tea. The food took a bit longer than expected though given how busy they are with take outs and dine-in order, it is understandable. Portion is adequate and there are counter seatings along perimeter of store.Call out is there is only 1 table available for seating so you have to bet on having that 1 table being available when you come in.“

The milk tea with boba and jelly grass was so good that....we purposely returned and ordered the same drink the next day (on our way back home to Boston after visiting U of MD). “Love this local spot. We stop here regularly and have never had a bad donut, the coffee and lattes drinks are also super creative and also are delicious. The workers here are always super nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is just positive. Once we went in and they made fresh donuts plain for our toddler (we’d helped ourselves to the sugary creations) when they noticed we hadn’t gotten her anything. Love this local spot!“

Everyone behind the counter has knowledge of what is available in the store and you can pick their brains about what ails you and what to take to treat or cure your ailments. One of my personal favorites is the Cashew Pep. It is what it's called and does what it is. Lol a nice cashew infused drink that gives you a much needed boost of energy. A burst of energy. A pep! Located in the Bronx, on White Pains Rd, off Gunhill Rd. Definitely a hidden gem. Just don't get too much Cashew Pep. Leave some for me!! See you there!!“

We ended up at Granola Bar and enjoyed a wonderful lunch with our server Alex who was very accommodating and friendly. My boyfriend had the French toast that was so good he ate it right away and we didn't even get a picture of it. I opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and the ricotta toast. Both were incredibly fresh, light and delicious! We finished with a latte which was finely crafted with an adorable bear! YOU GUYS ARE WRECKING IT.This place used to be incredible until they were sold to new owners that have very little idea how to run a 16 Handles. We just wasted a good 45 minutes running around picking people up, only to find out that there was no sugar-free yogurt which every 16 Handles has at least one of. There are certain standards that 16 Handles has in their franchise agreement and these guys are clueless. Please sell the store back to the old owners and restore the great frozen yogurt experience that used to be here. The one extra star is here because the one guy behind the counter is genuinely nice.“

“Easy to get to bc it’s inside Hmart. Has all the basic Korean bakery stuff you need. If you want the whole spread you should go to a stand alone Korean bakery bc they will have more. Free parking lot in the shopping plaza. This way you can go food shopping but also get bakery stuff. My favorite pastry was there which they don’t sell in most Korean bakeries - Soboro custard cream - it’s like coffee cake crunchies on top (but it’s not coffee flavored) with plenty of cream inside. This place was recommended to me by coworkers about 3 years ago and it is my go-to! I usually order a build-your-own salad and they have been so consistent and fresh and clean. The salads are beautiful and fresh and boy are they generous with their toppings. I usually can't finish an entire salad because I get so full. I was ordering from here for a couple of years before one day driving by and decided to go inside. They are not only a grocery store but they are also a deli and salad/juice bar. I have NEVER seen a more pristine salad bar showcase. I was extremely impressed. The entire store in fact was absolutely immaculate. With the Pink Cup I ordered, I was satisfied with the Pistachio flavored ice cream with my favorite toppings. The lovely cashiers welcomed me to the store and made me feel valued in the place. The Pistachio was delicious, and the bubble toppings with the strawberry slices were both nutritious and delicious.
