“The environment is very warm and feels natural. They used to have a pacman game by the stools on the side, but have gotten rid of that. However, the food is AMAZING. I have been coming here for the past year or so whenever I have appointments or am craving a sweet treat. I love the biscoff and cream waffle but also the k-dogs have been good for when I want hot foods.“

“I came across with this tiny pretty coffee shop couple months ago and absorlutely fell in love with everything they have.It's filled with charming little ornaments, vintage books and lush green plants.I love their good quality teas and coffees but I am crazy about bingsoo the most.Their bingsu is the best bingsu I ever had.I highly recommend bingsu.If you want to grab something to eat,they have yummy and healthy sandwiches as well.

“Humble cafe has a chill vibe which I loved. The music and setting is perfect for anyone wanting to relax, read or catch up with friends. I found it interesting that they roast their own coffee beans. I've never seen a machine like the one they have up close before so I found it unique. We just had an iced latte and ice coffee and found it to be a good Saturday afternoon spot to spend time in.“

“I had the pleasure to enjoy the food here at Toastique. The food was delicious, I tried the Spicy crab toast, it was the best tasty presentation of real crab meat with fine vegetables. The juices are healthy mixes of real fresh fruit. I tried the spicy Margarita, super tasty drink! “It’s more of a desert shop. Very tasty. The atmosphere is great too and very clean. The only down fall to the restaurant is the staff. Not welcoming at all and don’t greet you. I’m from out of country and I love to experience new places and I like to go back to restaurants that are friendly and warm, however, I won’t return here because of the staff lack of hospitality.“

“In a quest to find “REAL “ whitefish salad, I followed a friend’s suggestion and tried Cafe 17A. Amazing! This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! Everything is fresh, and homemade with Love by Scott, the owner. Thanks Scott, - can’t wait to return- You’ve definitely nailed it“

“Edit 2026: this used to be my favorite spot around QC until today, I got a pressed juice but the actual juice/fruit they used was so little. After 10 minutes you could see the water to pressed ingredients ratio and it’s so little… I’m disappointed. It’s not the most expensive but if you’re going to sell me this then lower the prices

“I got the mango/matcha soft serve! Needless to say, this was one of the most delicious matcha desserts I have had in a long time! I'm a matcha enthusiast and I have been to Maiko before but never had their soft serve. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The flavor is sweet enough and the matcha really come through - I can compare the flavor profile to Chigi no shiro by Marukyu Koyamaen. Overall, this was a perfect dessert for an extreamly warm day in NYC“

“I can’t believe I just discovered Off Grids Commons, especially since it’s so close to where I live. This is such a cool little coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax.

So far, I’ve only tried their Ube Hojicha, and it was fantastic. The flavors were unique, well balanced, and unlike anything I’ve had at a typical coffee shop. It was smooth, not overly sweet, and left me excited to come back and explore the rest of the menu.

It’s always great finding a local spot that stands out, and I’m glad this one is practically in my backyard. I’m definitely looking forward to trying more of what they have to offer in the future. If you’re on or around Bell Boulevard, Off Grids Commons is absolutely worth checking out.“

“Mr. Khalit is amazing! I stumbled upon his shop while i was waiting for my train at Kew Gardens station. It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. Mr. Khalit is kindhearted and seems to love his job. I’m so glad I found this gem and definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity!“

“The Pelican Room is relatively new, but they seemingly manage to bring a homely, inviting ambiance to your table. From the service to the food, everything was impeccable. I cannot recommend the truffle and gouda coquettes enough. Definitely looking forward to another visit soon.“

“Found this little gem through Google as we took my mother in law to the hospital for her surgery. The place didn’t disappoint, we had French toast, avocado toast, and eggs with bacon and sausage. “Honestly parking here is HORRIBLE because it’s located in a shopping center with a few other businesses/ restaurants so I would say best to park outside the lot. I ended up parking 2 blocks away which was far for this area. The cafe is small and can easily be missed. They’re a lot of seating and wasn’t busy so service was quick. They’re blueberry matcha was a special and when I received it I didn’t think I would like it as much since I’m not a fan of anything with pulp and the blueberry had pulp bits but you can tell it’s super fresh. After my first sip I can’t wait to go back for more because it was THAT good. Probably the best blueberry matcha I’ve ever had. I love places like this - little hole in the wall spots that just slap! Would recommend but it is far from me so I would have to make the 25 min drive (without traffic) just for this cafe. Wish the matcha was a little stronger so I would probably do double matcha next time but it did work well with the recipe for the drink. Would highly recommend giving this a try. I saw they have strawberry matcha too so maybe I’ll get both next time“

“The Polo Lounge is such a great place! We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and another couple was celebrating their 50th anniversary! The food was delicious! The portions are appropriate so you're not totally full before your main course even comes. The atmosphere is a fun. There's a lounge singer and couples dancing. It was lovely to watch and we were sitting in our booth. There was a wedding going on, but it did not bother the restaurant at all. We will be back every year for our anniversary after bring married at Westbury Manor. The staff, the food, and the atmosphere will keep us coming back!“

“When I visited the cafe, Mahi took my order, and he was amazing. He was friendly, funny, and fast-paced. I ordered a taro bubble milk tea, and he had it out in what felt like an instant. Even though I wasn’t at the cafe for long, he checked on me to make sure everything was to my liking. By the time I left, he had made a lasting impression in a short amount of time. I’ll definitely be coming back to this excellent cafe in the future!“

“I’m new to the Neighbourhood, but I just found my new spot. Tommy’s deli Is a nice convenient and well Established. The owner Angela was very nice very respectful and the way she ran her business and the entire presentation is a five out of five. It’s A+. She’s a great individual.

Enjoyed their spinach feta as well as breakfast burrito. They sell merch and tons of other cute knickknacks. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy whatever you end up ordering. “Beautiful coffee shop on Queens Blvd. I had a cortado and a black cup of coffee. Both were just ok. The food and the pastires are the draw here. Too many delicious cakes to mention.
