“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“We dropped by Ace's Pizza around 3pm., Brooklyn, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Ave NYC and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—amazing service all around. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and a 14-inch Pepperoni Pizza. Every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding. The pepperoni pizza especially stood out—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and the overall vibe of the place made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving great pizza!“

“I recently moved to the area and Ive been on the hunt for the best food in the area - one of which was finding my new go to korean fried chicken place. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Ill definitely be back to try their other food~“

Got the tropical island chicken sandwich which was juicy, and their burgers are juicy too.

The strawberry milkshake was pretty good as well.

However second time I went the sandwich wasn't as good as the first time.

Mozzarella sticks were frozen, Cajun fries, a handful of paprika drowned over the top Today beer that's normally $6 was $8 plus a $4 tip, tax and looking for another tip. Bill should have been $20 it's $30. Live with your wn failure. Don't put it on the customers. Pretty bartenders won't cover incompetence.“

“One of the workers gave me an extremely hard time about the dips that were included in my meal. I hadn’t ordered the food but someone else did so I only had a screenshot of part of the receipt. She said I needed the full receipt to confirm that I had multiple dips. Then after telling her I searched the entire bag, in a rude voice she said I had to bring the bag in to prove that there were no dips, as if I was lying. Then she put two dips in the bag, and then shoved the bag towards me. I told her I needed 4 more and she started laughing saying they were coming. On top of all of that they forgot my fries and I didn't even feel like going back in there. She was so extra and rude for no reason.“

It was my first time experiencing halal food so I asked bunch of questions to the guys at the line and they were very chill; they described all the toppings that I pointed to and gave me a GENEROUS PORTION. Chicken was well seasoned and tender, rice was also seasoned and chickpeas and hummus were decently fresh; everything tasted good even on the next day. This fed me for easily two days! “I recently hosted a holiday party at 690, and everything exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was vibrant, the space was perfect, and the bar options were excellent. We rented the entire upstairs private floor with a cash bar, and it worked out beautifully. They catered the event, and the food was absolutely phenomenal, with plenty of menu options to choose from. “The food was the most delicious than any burger joint you can find. The temperature inside is good (just wear a sweater in case) while you eat. Each burger was created with so much flavors and their house made sauce pairs so well with the fries and burger inside. The service was hospitality, great, and nice cashier who took our orders. The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.

For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.

Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.

Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“
