“I heard that Tonchin is difficult to get walk-ins for, so I was really excited to get a reservation here. There was a long line of walk-ins when we arrived for our 12pm reservation. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe and good service. Overall there were some things I liked, but nothing was particularly memorable. The kimchi mushroom ($8) was meh and not worth the cost. It was very small, cold, and sour -- just hard strips of oyster mushroom in a chili oil/vinegar flavor. I didn't taste the kimchi flavor. The original maguro ($27) was very good. Lots of great flavors and textures, and everything was cut to the same size. I enjoyed the crunchy bits. The tebasaki ($18 for 6 pieces) had quite big and tender wings. The drumettes had more flavor and sauciness. This wasn't a must-get, but it was decent. The smoked dashi ramen ($22) definitely lived up to its name. It was a rich but not overly heavy pork broth with smoked dashi liquid on top. It was good but not amazing. I didn't love that the bamboo was in a big chunk, which made it hard to eat. The noodles are nothing special. I felt similarly about the tonkotsu ramen.I got the aka drink ($18) which was pretty good -- very floral and good sweetness. It wasn't that big, though -- it had a giant ice block in it.Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is quick to come out, but nothing would make me come back. The maguro was definitely the highlight.“

“One of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. They are known for their Detroit style square pies. Excellent soft dough with delicious sauce & cheese. The inside is very electric & creatively put together. My first Detroit style pizza experience & I loved it.Parking: Paid street parking available outside but can be a bit difficult to find an available spot.“

“The food in Amazing Chicken & Gyro is a great price and tastes great especially for the price. They are fully halal which is amazing and allows for everyone to enjoy along with the full range of a menu catering to everyone. I would recommend especially the chicken wings with mango habanero and the Gyro Salad with white sauce!Vegetarian options: They have salads and vegetarian gyro along with a few other options.“

“Super reliable spot, food is always ready within or before estimated time. Ordered online and to go several times over the past year. They offer a little bit of everything. Never had a bad experience, food is well packaged with plenty of sauces. They’re always busy with plenty of to go orders, but always welcoming and professional.“

“When a craftsman takes pride in their work, it shows! Let me tell you that this pizza has "craftsmanship" written all over it! To begin with not many pizzerias make grandma slices, whereas they had an abundance when I went in. To top it off the taste is just an explosion of flavor! This is besides a variety of pizza styles they have ready. I'm definitely coming back and can't wait to try out other craft slices!“

“I'm no expert on Korean food but I do know delicious and this place definitely hit the mark. Upon walking into the place I knew it was going to be a good experience. The staff were super friendly and also helpful with food selection which I needed. The restaurant has a light and airy feel to it with a nice layout with an ability to accommodate smaller groups. The bar seating is a great choice if you're on your own or with a friend. The make all types of cocktails and have a nice selection of beers including some Korean options. The food menu offers some classic Korean dishes from what I learned. I went with the Spicy Squid Bibimbap for my main. Before that came out they brought me a free appetizer which hit the spot. I'm not certain what it all was but I didn't leave much behind. Apparently this is one of three locations. I really hope to be back again in the future. Enjoy!!“

“- If your looking for one of the best burgers you ever had, or just something to stand out from the onslaught of restaurants in Times Square area, Dark Side Of The Moon is the place to visit. Not only is it one the best names in restaurant history, it is one of the best burgers I've had nationwide. What really stood out was their choice of exotic meats. You can choose from alligator sausage, kangaroo, bison, elk, camel and yak burgers and they even have wild boar tacos. The yak burger stood up to their claim that it is the best meat they offer. Never have I had such a flavorful burger. Who knew yak would be so delicious. The owner was not only the host but also the server and worked hard to make the experience memorable. It's always a pleasure to see an owner who cares enough to work the trenches to assure his diners leave happy and satisfied. Will definitely return as there is a plethora of menu options still to try. If you have a chance to stop by and try their burgers I suggest you do just that.“

“My 1st time having Korean fried chicken. Been wanting to have it for a long time. Came across this gem and I'm a fan.Chicken is fried fresh to order so please be patient. I ordered the 5pc Golden original just so I can taste the overall flavor. Nicely fried to a crispy and juicy texture. The guy at the register Kim bought me over a side of their Secret Sauce to try it. Not too sweet or spicy but it's sticky. The 1st time having pickled daikon also. Very refreshing and a palate cleanser. Love it“

“First time here and the spot is nice. It’s jazzy and dark, but intimate. We got the soy garlic wings, the cheese corn and the fries. I didn’t get much since I wasn’t so hungry. I was highly disappointed in the wings. Yes it was crispy but it wasn’t tasty. It wasn’t well seasoned. The fries were decent. The cheese corn taste like the corn came out of a can. Sigh. Don’t like that taste. I’ll give it another shot and try the other stuff in the menu.“

Me and the fam got to try the tenders(hugee), ribs, rotisserie chicken, burgers, general tsos and chopped cheese sandwich and OH MY was it DELICIOUS. The people here were also very friendly and accommodating, they also had good music playing in the background. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone in or out of town. “I normally write reviews for the readers, but today, this review is directed to the owner. Your fried chicken is worth the trouble of finding parking. I had the 10pc bloom drumsticks half w/Soy Garlic and the other half in S.O.S. Korean Spicy. I would even go as far as saying any of the sauces are worth a parking ticket. I was also super impressed with the size of the drumsticks! I was full after just 4, and thankfully, otherwise I would have been tempted to eat my napkin just to relish the flavor. I'm also grateful I arrived with family, since they ordered additional items, like the bloom wings, truffle fries, pork dumplings, and wasabi coleslaw. I got to try almost everything and nothing disappointed...not one thing. Thank you for offering to provide me my order as it became available for the members of my family vs. waiting for all of it to finish, that was very considerate of you and unexpected. I saw how polite you were to everyone that entered to order and for pick-up. We waited a little less than 25 minutes for the order to be complete and considering the size of our order, that was impressively fast! I just want to add that I also noticed you sacrificed your kitchen space to provide extra room for your guest, hats off to you sir! The seating space at the entrance is ample, the decor is trendy, the food was amazing, your attitude was great and even the bathroom was clean. The next time I come, I'm shooting a video for you, you deserve it...plus, I need an excuse to come back.“

“One of the workers gave me an extremely hard time about the dips that were included in my meal. I hadn’t ordered the food but someone else did so I only had a screenshot of part of the receipt. She said I needed the full receipt to confirm that I had multiple dips. Then after telling her I searched the entire bag, in a rude voice she said I had to bring the bag in to prove that there were no dips, as if I was lying. Then she put two dips in the bag, and then shoved the bag towards me. I told her I needed 4 more and she started laughing saying they were coming. On top of all of that they forgot my fries and I didn't even feel like going back in there. She was so extra and rude for no reason.“

“Our family's favorite korean chicken place to order from!! Try the cheesling flavor as I have not seen this available in other korean chicken places and it is finger lickin good. You will never experience this flavor in any regular American chicken places. Also the classic soy garlic flavor is savory and sweet. We can never decide which flavor to order so we go with a whole chicken half and half.Their portion is generous and their seasoning is just right. Friendly service and easy ordering.“

“I ordered takeout. I tried tteokbokki for the first time and it was so so good!I can’t handle spice food but the rich sauce isn’t spicy. The radishes were so delicious. The fish cake and rice cake have a neutral flavor to me but the dumplings are really tasty. The serving size is really on point. “I came here after claiming my free bubble tea from one of Yelp's events since I was in the area. I visited the LIC Lunar New Year events website and saw that this spot had a sampler special. I took a chance on it. After disputing with staff and management that the deal on the website ends at the end of the month, they had adjusted their online menus to provide the sampler option to order. I did get the sampler without having to spend extra. Portions were generous and fresh. I ate half and took the other half home for the family. The ambiance was designed for locals living in the area, not so much for outsiders like me. I saw that Kuku has other locations, so I may check those out.“

“Coqodaq, founded by the masterminds behind Cote, presents a tantalizing twist on fried chicken in the heart of NYC. From the moment you step inside, the sleek ambiance and aroma of sizzling chicken promise a memorable dining experience. I recently visited with friends and savored their renowned chicken. However, while the food exceeded expectations, some diners have noted occasional inconsistencies in portion sizes and wait times during peak hours. Nonetheless, Coqodaq stands as a beacon for fried chicken aficionados, offering a delightful fusion of flavors and a chic atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more“

“The steak burrito was the perfect mix of spicy, not too much rice, not too much cheese, and flavorful steak. The spicy noodle bowl is just that. On another level of spice! A tad much. The Thai curry wings were pretty flavorful but a little oily. Def want to try a few more things on the menu but now I know that when it says spicy, they mean business.“

“Unexpected stop at Abe's for a quick drink before Brooklan. Very cool laid back vibe. So when you sit in a seat like the one I took a picture of below no one comes up to you. That's the only downside to service. You'd have to go up to the bar and order. Drinks were pretty good for happy hour. The food was even better! Buffalo wings were sooo tasty and HUGE, which is so worth it. The chicken sandwich was also very good. I will say that salad blows all of it out the water! Not only was it all so fresh, it was huge! I just never expected Sugar Snap Pea, Edamame, Red Watercress, Pea Tendrils, Horseradish, Black Sesame, & Yuzu Kosho Ranch to be such a mind blowing combo! 10/10 recommend!“

“Super friendly family-run takeaway spotThis whole place is run by a very sweet Korean couple. They make the chicken in-house, but order the sides premade. I got a solo gang jeong solo chicken box and a side of fries (which only come in a sharing size). I shied away from the box because I'm not excited about kimchi.Next time, I'll order the box. The salad and the rice would be nice variety for the chicken. The fries were a little soggy for my taste.“

“Absolutely delicious! I had their 5 tender meal with truffle fries and it was so much better and no more expensive than fast food. The chicken was just a little cold and they forgot my drink, but for the price and how good the food was, I can totally overlook it and I'll definitely come back. Solid portions and surprisingly low prices. What a great value in Forest Hills!“

“While I haven't been here to watch a game, I have been here twice when it wasn't packed, and I had a great time. The service was just as excellent as the wings and the pitcher of lemonade that we had, if you are in a company of more than two, I recommend getting the wings and ask for all the sauces brought separately. It's a good spot if you're meeting with a large group, too.
