“We hired Bridge Creek Catering for our May 2022 wedding and we do not regret it! When we first booked our venue, Senate Garage, in Kingston NY, at the time, the exclusive caterer that Senate Garage worked with was Bridge Creek Catering (you can now book others), but I am so glad we worked with BCC. Jessica, the VP at BCC, was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and respectful of my budget, and every bride’s dream - a fanatic for details. Jessica was a dream to work with and made me feel at ease, helped with decisions, and planned an incredible tasting for my family and the day was perfect. When the pandemic hit, she didn’t miss a beat and helped me move our wedding an entire year, and guarantee the rentals and food (at no additional cost). I love that Bridge Creek Catering dealt with all of my rentals. This can be a daunting task, but Jessica made it so easy. She even saved me money by providing materials they owned and alerted me that our venue had some tables and chairs we could use. We had a blast at the tasting with our parents and everything we tried was better than the last. We decided to not do a cake, and instead did petite desserts - which was a huge hit for people grabbing a bite when they needed a break from the dance floor. Jessica recommended that immediately after the ceremony, my groom and I should come inside away from the crowd to have 10 minutes to ourselves - to breathe, drink some water, relax, and have our own small platter of each of our hors d'oeuvres - and boy, was that a great suggestion! Probably one of my favorite moments of the day. Our wedding dinner - we had steak and chicken options - was better than any wedding meal I’d had. Sometimes wedding meals can be boring, bland, dry, etc. but ours was juicy, flavorful, and HOT, and everyone commented how great the food was. The bar was even better and the bartenders were mixing up mean cocktails and martinis for our guests. Bridge Creek Catering made our wedding feel so elevated and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! “My wife and I had Flores cater our wedding in October. We had the best food experience with the Flores team. We absolutely feel in love with the menu at our tasting and the food at our wedding was cooked to perfection. We got married at Locust Grove, which has a full kitchen setup. Our guest raved about the food for weeks! (We’re still hearing about it from friends and family). The beef tenderloin was fantastic, our guests raved about how perfect it was cooked, a true feat especially when prepared in mass. Everyone loved the chicken empanadas, the mojo chicken, the charcuterie cones, and the tuna tartar. We opted for a vegetarian pállela for our vegan/vegetarian friends and it was a hit. The deal was sealed when everyone lined up for seconds of dessert, Flan and Ice Cream. They were a complete one-stop shop from the ceremony space, to cocktail hour, and straight through the reception, including all of the catering, which made the entire planning process so much less stressful. ��From day one, Abby answered every question we had (and there were a lot!) with patience, knowledge, and kindness. She was absolutely incredible to work with, and we also had wonderful support from Emily along the way. They both provided so many helpful tips and tricks that ultimately made our wedding day run incredibly smoothly and stress-free. ��We did a tasting a few months before the wedding, which was such a great experience and really helped us finalize our menu with confidence. They have amazing homemade juices/punch such as, carrot punch, peanut punch, sorrel, Irish moss, carrot juice, and beet root juice. Some of my favorite foods from Sophia’s Homestyle Café includes, peanut porridge, carrot porridge, the fried chicken, the stew, peas, the goat soup, fried dumpling and with ackee and salt fish,and brown stew fish with rice and peas… The list truly could go on, but I think you get the drift! Billy and his team were a well-oiled machine working there. They knew the venue in and out. They also knew what to recommend for us for the venue. The day of the wedding, Spice Catering ensured that we ate and that we always had drinks if we wanted them. They were flexible with us in determining if we keep the ceremony/cocktail hour inside/outside due to the weather forecast. They also had plenty of staff to greet guests as they entered and to serve our guests. Erick, our maître d', helped our day of coordinator set everything up, take everything down, and ensure the timeline was followed smoothly.
