Every time I come here I cry, my waist cries, my wallet cries, my wife smiles happily, I cry more as I drink my tasty shake. So good, yet for the food offered the prices are a little high. Which is beneficial to my waist as it makes this place an occasional treat instead of a daily meal like Taco Bell or McDonalds. But so worth the expense.“

Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

I ordered a triple smash cheeseburger with the fries and washed it all down with 2 flat tires. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friend and family and would plan to go back soon. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. The server was extremely attentive and made sure my and my cousin were well taken care. I would give this restaurant a 10/10 no question.“

“The Texas Ranger restaurant has a wonderful pedigree having been moved to its current location from its former location on the Nautical mile, a restaurant which is now called Rachel's. In the early 80s, my wife and her sister worked as waitresses there and remember the goodness of the food 45 years later. From what I understand, the new owners bought the name and the original recipes for the classic dishes for which the original Ranger was known. Forty-five years later, my wife says the recipes remain true to the original and are definitely worth a visit and revisit.“

I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! “Rodney was one of the greatest waiters I’ve ever had in my life. From the moment we sat down, he brought the perfect mix of professionalism, energy, and genuine kindness. He was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and somehow made the whole meal feel easy and fun. “I fell into Cue bar Friday 6/12/26. This place really fooled me, as I parked at the train station, and from that side, it didn't look like much. Once you get inside?? I was completely floored! It seemed to go on forever! Definitely no table shortage HERE. A nice bar at the front where a bud was 6 bucks, one of the best burgers was 9 bucks and the most AMAZING nachos ever. were 12. ( I would return just for the nachos). All the staff were extremely friendly and relaxed. It was high 90s that evening, but inside it was approaching meat-locker cool. Had a tough week as i did? Fall into the que, and have a few brews,
the nachos and play a few, and it gave me a great Outlook for the weekend !“

Breakfast was great , I loved the touch of Lettuce on the plate which was tasty along with the potatoes and Eggs . The only thing that bothered me was the Bill which much to my surprise was $ 5.00 for a small cup of coffee.. that added $ 10 for my friend and myself. The issue is NOWHERE on the menu is it listed .. Our Waiter David was attentive and pleasant, but he should have mentioned that a cup of coffee is extra or offered a glass of Orange juice .. I’ll go there again because I really like the place and it’s close to my home .. next time I’ll ask if the glass of water they put in the table is in place of a nice morning cup of coffee…“

Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect.
