“I love sushi, and the sushi bar is awesome. There specialty rolls are fantastic. I love there sushi/sashimi platter for 2... I usually buy 2 or 3 appetizers and it can absolutely feed 3. Haven't had a meal here that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.“

“I have been searching for a new sushi spot close to home and, after many hits and misses, I finally visited Kiku Sushi Family for the first time. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and charming decor. The booth seating we received was perfect.

We were greeted warmly by two women as soon as we arrived, and they promptly seated us, ensuring we were comfortable. Our waitress, Sophia, was exceptional--attentive throughout our meal, making sure we were enjoying everything and checking if we needed anything else. She definitely added to our awesome experience. The service here is phenomenal!

The food was incredibly fresh, which is particularly reassuring when it comes to seafood. I tend to be fearful when trying new places that offer seafood.
The portion sizes for the meals were generous, and the sushi rolls had a fair amount of fish, not just packed with rice with the goal of filling you up.
This attention to quality was much appreciated!

Prices at Kiku Sushi Family are very reasonable, offering a great meal at a good price. The menu, while a bit old-school, is extensive with a wide variety of options--literally 100 different rolls and numerous appetizers, kitchen items, and more. Whether you're craving sushi, noodles, chicken, or beef, you'll find something to enjoy.

We ordered the chicken teriyaki with vegetables, the Godzilla roll appetizer, and the UFO ball appetizer. For sushi, we tried the Fashion roll, Rock 'n Roll, Hurricane, and Big Spider rolls. Everything was fantastic. I love trying new dishes each visit, and I'm excited to return and explore more of their menu items.

My only disappointment was that they don't accept American Express cards, but it wasn't a big issue--I just paid with cash.

“I recently discovered this little gem , only 2 1/2 miles from home , and had a big , delicious meal there yesterday , 4/25/24 . I had two servings of both Pineapple Chicken and Mango Shrimp , freshly prepared and absolutely delicious : each generous serving would have a sufficient light lunch in and of itself . The Avocado , Asparagus and Boston rolls were likewise delicious ; I will return for more of everything I ordered in coming weeks ...... Service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming , with seating comfortable and well spaced ; the entire place , including the lavatory , was immaculate . Sake is family owned , and as with so many small Asian restaurants whose proprietors hail from China's Fujian Province , the pride taken in service is ever p;resent here ...... With the unfortunate closing of Ruby Buffet after the Sunrise Mall fire of January , 2021 , Sake by itself fills a much needed South Shore niche . “The food was very good. The Ramen bowls were large and filling. You should try the sushi tacos! It’s a seaweed wrap make to look like tacos!
We really wanted to try the shaved ice, but they didn’t have the strawberry syrup, and the worker who makes it was out ??‍♀️.

“To start, the spicy Edamame was amazing. It was creamy, just the right amount salty and rather than kicking with spiciness, it warmed our mouths with a heart that was pleasant. The red pepper ramen with peanut butter was one of the most interesting flavors I've had. It almost felt very pad thai infused. Subtle yet making a statement. The ultimate best broth here is the Kalbi Ramen (a mix of their pork & beef broth). OMG I could drink it by the gallons!! Highly recommend it!

“Yoho Japanese is THE BEST!

Ive had my eye on Yoho ever since they opened I really wanted to try! finally last night was my chance to try it for dinner and they did not disappoint!!! everything was cooked to perfection and the food came in a reasonable time. They included all utensils and chopsticks, which I loved because it makes it easier to just chow down! The website is also very easy to order on and I really enjoyed my experience with Yoho! Will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will definitely order again!“

“This is the best sushi in long island. The quality of the fish is superior, the presentation is flawless and the taste is incredible. The sushi for 2 is consistent every time, the flavors are unbelievably good. They pair each piece of fish with a sauce that will bring out an entire experience. They prepare the Uni (sea urchin) perfectly. It's a treat to be here. Thank you!“

“Came here for lunch and it was great. Wonderful portion size and a good selection of bento box. Not served in a traditional bento box but a 4-sectioned plate. Soup and salad served separately. Price is reasonable. Attentative staffs. Will return in the future.

“Was there last night with my family, Food service and atmosphere was great. When I asked for an Alcohol free beer I was told not on the menu , which it wasn’t. Owner came over and brought over two of his own Japanese AF Really something nice to do. New go to place.“

“This is our FAVORITE place to get Raman! You can’t get any better than this! So delicious, always fresh, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. So many options on the menu, even some great options for Gluten free!! The size of the dishes is so much, we usually end up taking some home, I love it! The kimchi is the best and the crispy chicken bun is so fluffy and the chicken is so crispy! The soup is amazing and it fits perfectly with the toppings. It’s a very quick wait, always less than 10 minutes! Do yourself a favor and try it out!

i’ve probably had every single one of the classic rolls and you just cant go wrong. love the NY roll, green river roll and christmas tree roll!

“This is a very nicely designed Hibachi restaurant sectioned the Hibachi grills and seating away from main restaurant and there is also a sushi bar and a liquor bar adorende with 3 large television screens for a sports bar feel. The food is fresh , very tasty and arrives pretty quickly. The one draw back that you may not like and isnt a real bad thing is the various staff members that attend to your order for drinks, then the food comes out by another person. The are visits than seem eager to grab your plate to clear the table giving you a sense that there is a rush for the table. We will be back since the food , atmosphere and prices are very good.
