“The food was absolutely great. I had the Bakuto pork ramen and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful and rich broth and tender pork. I particularly liked the mushrooms included in the ramen. My friend had the spicy cold noodles which were also tasty. The service was great, we did have some issues with the waiter mishearing us, ordered chicken bun but got a shrimp bun, but the waiter was quick to comp us for the shrimp and put in the order for the chicken bun. Both buns were good but the chicken was better than the shrimp. The dumpling were solid but nothing special. A nice atmosphere, there was a mini Spock photo hidden in a tea cup which was cute. A great restaurant for a nice dinner!“
“Take out sushi?? You bet!! I picked out one of the suggested trios for maki lunch. Salmon, tuna, and spider roll is the one I chose. All chunk no scrapings of tuna. big quality chunks of tuna and salmon. I felt the spider roll had a bit too much crunches mixed in. A serving of miso soup (included) was very good. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just a little reminder-- unless it's called in, you're gonna wait for them to make it (fresh) less than 15 minutes. And as I said earlier it's worth the coin“
“10/10 best quality of food and service. I order lunch from here at least once a week. They have my favorite chicken katsu bento box which comes with both soup and salad at $17 which is an amazing deal! They have ramen and even Thai food options available. My go-to spot, highly “
“I had to update my review because I got some of best tasting chicken chow mein that I've had in a long time.there was plenty of chicken pieces and it was very flavorful. I also ordered some wonton egg drop soup that was full of flavor hot and delicious. their fried rice was cooked perfectly and my order arrived promptly and was piping hot. I will definitely be going back to try something else on their menu“
“Ma and Pop shop that melts my heart when I’m there (2nd time going). They greet you when you come in and are the only employees there (so definitely have patience though their kindness makes up for any time waiting). Each time I’ve been there they’ve given us a complementary “starter” (2 pieces per person of a spicy, on-the-house sushi).Today we went for the lunch combo and that’s been our favorite so far since the price is good for what you get and I love that it comes with a choice of miso or salad (last time we went for dinner and I had their bulgolgi sushi which was amazing but I loved how fresh and filling their lunch special was while also being budget friendly). They even served us free dessert both times; a complementary (and beautifully cut) orange slice and half a mochi each (last time it was the vanilla mochi which I loved as it reminded me of an orange creamsicle with the orange slice but today’s was a matcha mocha that was absolutely delicious). We’ll definitely be back :)Vegetarian options: I had a sweet potato sushi roll that was so good! I also see they have avocado rolls and other rolls that are just surrounded by a single but delish vegetable.Kid-friendliness: There was a mom and her little toddler waiting for takeout; the owners not only gave them the complementary starter while they waited for their order but even a whole mochi to the toddler as she was waiting with her mom. The owners have the biggest hearts! ❤️“
“I drive past this place on my way to work regularly and always see the lunch specials sign. I finally decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed ! Small place but staff were super friendly and my food was delicious ! My lunch special portion was so large I had enough to save for lunch the next day. I will be back !“
“I think was absolutely great food but portions are on the smaller side and there is other locations closer for more reasonable price. I spent 80 on sushi and I was still hungry:/ . For that I will be going somewhere else. Not exactly pocket friendly. Cool spot to hang in patchogue “
“Truly the best sushi!!!! Everything about this place is incredible. The service and food are top notch. We searched for a sushi place and never found one we wanted to go back until we came to Mizu. Now we can’t get sushi anywhere else! Get the spicy tuna rice appetizer, you won’t be disappointed!“
“The restaurant is very well decorated and very clean. The staff was very nice and helped me since this was my first time in. I got the chicken karaage and a brown sugar milk tea. The chicken was hot and crunchy and was so good i want seconds and the milk tea was so refreshing with it. 10/10“
“If you are looking for the best sushi on Long Island FUKEE is the spot. I have been to my fair share of sushi places and nothing even comes close to the freshness and quality here. Spicy kani rolls, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna rolls, green salad and miso soup are literally the best I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been on a 60 day cleanse and I’m counting down the days it’s over so I can get FUKEE again. I usually get it a few nights a week and every night it’s better and better if that’s even possible! I cannot say enough great things about this spot!! If you never had it; this is your sign to go, you won’t be disappointed! They have a customer for life, words can’t describe how much I love this place <3“
“So I came to motor vehicle to drop off my plates and this place is right next door.My friends and I returned next weekend and it is now my new favorite local restaurant. We ordered quite a bunch of different things from the appetizers as well as an Old Bay shrimp boil and a Mussels boil. Calamari was ultra tender. Healthy portions, healthy food and reasonable prices! The walls are alive with tropical fishes swimming as beaming from overhead projectors.Looks like quite a bar too;though we were there for an early dinner.Highly recommend.I don’t understand the negative reviews from a year and more ago. This place only opened six weeks ago.“
“We went for the first time to Spoonsticks yesterday and we are so disappointed that it has take us thins long to check this place out. We ordered the pork bun, pork maandu, vegetable fried rice with pork, ramen and the ho tteok. Everything was delicious. My favorites were the pork bun and the ho tteok. We honestly can't wait to go back!“
“Went on a Monday when a lot of other sushi places are typically closed. I am happy to report that the fish was very fresh. We did the omakase. It is $120 a person for 15 tastings. They also offer 10% cash discount. The staff were very attentive. The inside is very modern and clean. The omakase was a great experience with various different flavor profiles. I liked that the omakase included appetizers and dessert. Definitely would recommend.“
“Good, clean, sushi spot in the village of babylon. Came here for dinner on a Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we still got a table rather fast. For an appetizer, we got K-Mac Sliders, which were delicious and probably the best thing of the night. For dinner, we got a chirashi platter, which, was very nice and featured some great fish. They don't list what your getting, which is a little annoying, but the fish was good and fresh.Service was good, and the ambiance is rather basic, but nice.“
“My name is Rashawn and this was my second coming to here and the experience was once again amazing. My 2 buddies came here for the first time and they were speechless about what they had experienced last night. Nothing fresh food, great vibes, and outstanding service. I must say our Server Ellie went above and beyond for us in every way customer service wise , JBBQ you should be blessed ans thankful to have a server like her. She is awesome“
“We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner on Christmas Eve and came across Sumou. The rolls tasted fresh and were great quality.Inside was nicely dim and there's two dining areas, one for hibachi which we will be back for!Service was excellent, yelp check-ins even got me a free glass of house wine! The rolls were beautifully made, and came out super fast.Pricing was perfect for a sushi restaurant, $8-$18 a roll and the appetizers were in the same range.“
“Love this place, the drinks are great, the fried oysters are to die for! And the rolls are pretty good as well, Staff is very friendlyParking: Decent sized parking lot but there are alot of other businesses in the strip so it depends on how busy everyone is and when you go“
“Quality sushi. The presentation on the plate was even pretty! Clean restaurant. Nice napkins even! Service was great- waitress was incredibly attentive and sweet. We went on a Sunday night and it was a lovely chill vibe. Made a great first impression! We hope to be back soon. Thank you Ohayo.“
“Ive selfishly waited way too long to write this review because I kind of don't want this place to get any busier but they deserve any and all accolades. Up until I found Kiku, I hated sushi. Never was very much into fish of any kind but I have been converted. The sushi here is incredible. So fresh you'd think the ocean was in their backyard. Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming. The waitress barely even needs to take my order as she always remembers the little things like how i eat way too much ginger and wasabi and always get extra dressing with my salad. I've tried numerous other Sushi restaurants since Kiku and not one so far can hold a candle to the freshness, friendliness and affordability of Kiku. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more.“
“This is an amazing place to eat lunch or dinner! Everyone is very kind and respectful. They have great service and everyone is always smiling! I come here all the time with family and friends and they all love it! I highly recommend everyone to come here! Absolutely amazing?“
“What a treat eating chicken katsu and sushi, all gluten free! The waitress was very kind and mentioned that almost everything on the menu could be made gluten free safely. The restaurant was a little small on the inside so I was glad we made reservations, hoping some day they'll make it easier to order gluten free take out online.“
“We've been here so many times, and every time is wonderful! We love it so much that we went on Christmas day the past 3 years! This one chef automatically knows how we like our steak cooked, and that we like double yummy yummy sauce! 10/10 every time!“
“This place is phenomenal. It’s Valentine’s Day (and Ash Wednesday) it’s swamped. I ordered take out and once I get home the bag split and my sushi went all over the floor. I was shattered at this point because I was moments away from have a perfect night with my partner. I called them and without hesitation they remade my order as quickly as possible. Thank you so much Liki for accommodating me on one of your busiest days of the year. This place has amazing food and great service. 10/10 recommend.“
“Our family loves Masa. We order talk out all the time and have dined in . Everything we have ordered is outstanding. It is our go to for Japanese food. It blows Mito out of the water.Best Japanese in Babylon.Excellent service inside restaurant and with delivery.“
“We have only eaten here a handful of times but each time the food is fresh for both dine in & take our. I love the 20% off when you order on-line. The staff is very friendly and accommodating allowing my daughter to customize her bento box. Tonight we took out & I left my phone on the bar. The staff held it for me in the register until I returned to get it. They definitely won me as their customer!“
“Sushi Vogue is a lovely restaurant. Was not crowded when we were there so was not noisy and a very pleasant dining experience. Service was excellent. Food was very good, especially the cooked food. Miso cod, delicious. Only complaint was that the sushi fish was VERY cold. Needs to be served at more room temperature to be completely enjoyed!!“
“I'm an avid sushi lover and always like trying new places. This was my first time at MoCA. The ambience and decor were nice. I love the design of the seating area and bar. Booths were super spacious and comfortable. My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers (Mini Rolls and Indian Pancakes) and 2 specialty rolls (American Dream Roll and Baja Roll). Everything was delicious, just wish the rolls were a little bigger. Definitely on the smaller side compared to tons of other sushi restaurants I've been too. Honestly, we were still hungry after that. So order more than you think. We were going to order the Mille (Green Tea) Crêpe Cake but they ran out for the night. Looked really promising though. For cocktails I first ordered a margarita and I feel bad saying this but, it was one of the worst margaritas I've ever had and my husband agreed. It didn't taste anything like a margarita, and it was sour and just weird. However, the waitress was nice enough to switch out my drink and I ended up ordering a Jalapeño Mango Martini instead, which was delicious. Overall everything was good just wish the sushi had a bigger serving.“
“Fast order pickup and great quality food. Never disappointed. Sushi prices and other food prices are great as well. I haven't had a single thing that I didn't like. I'll frequent this place weekly.Vegetarian options: Salads, sushi, soups, veggie plates“
“A Large restaurant with a lot of bar, table and hibachi seating. Nicely decorated in a modern style. We had a hibachi dinner that we really enjoyed. The portions were generous and the steak was very tender. Excellent shrimp and lobster tail. We had the tempura banana for dessert. It was a real treat.“
“8 years after the first time I stepped in here; and if anything, the food has gotten better! Service is fantastic. Always so eager to help. You can always hear one of the servers explaining to a new customer, the difference in fish and their flavor/texture profile. It's a smaller place but cozy and not cramped. I prefer the sushi counter but anywhere is a good time since the food is out of this world.“
“Best hibachi around lately, just be aware they have a lot of birthday parties so the lights will occasionally go dim and they'll start playing birthday music and all that. If you can get past that the food is great, a decent value among hibachi restaurants, and very generous proportions, especially with the fried rice.“
“The service was top notch. My pad Thai was great. My friend was not thrilled with his steak, but he's rarely thrilled with anything. The only ding that takes down from 5 stars is the portion size and cost. A> little< pricey for what you get considering the shopping center location.“
“This place is amazing! The service is beyond expectation, the food was great tasted fresh and the rolls were some of the best I’ve ever had. The sanitation of this place is also very good, it’s nice and clean, the table are always wiped down before a new person comes!!! I’ve been to many sushi places and there was always something about the food or sanitary concerns but this restaurant has no issues! I will be coming back every soon!“
“Staff here is very friendly. I got the chicken katsu bento and it was...just ok. Chicken was perfect, but the rice was super mushy. The miso soup was obviously from a ready mix and had those tiny little completely uniform freeze-dried tofu pieces. Ebi Mayo/rock shrimp was better, but tiny portion. Kani salad had more lettuce than crab and didn't have crunchy panko on top. They're also really cheap with the sauces here. Overall it'll satisfy your cravings, but don't expect to be blown away. I honestly feel they're overpriced for the quality served.“
“I've driven by here a few times before but never tried it until recently. I was there on a Sunday night and it wasn't too busy. There were tables with the grills and ones with out. Obviously if you want hibachi then the grill seats are the only option. You may end up sharing a table but it's not bad. I only had the hibachi this time but they also have sushi here as well. The hibachi is cooked right in front of you and the cook puts on a little bit of show too. Good for the kids if you're dining with any. The hibachi comes with soup, salad, vegetables and fried rice or noodles. I got both. The meat they have steak, chicken, shrimp, and lobster I believe. You can also get a combination as well. I had the steak and shrimp. Food was good and the experience was fun. I'd like to try other places in the area but I would definitely come back.“
“We absolutely love this restaurant and would highly recommend it to any sushi lovers staff is amazing very friendly very welcoming went out of their way to make my honey feel special for his birthday. The sushi is amazing and fresh The restaurant actually has little tables that you can actually go and sit on pillows and they shut the door and it gives you a feeling like you’re in Japan definitely don’t miss this restauran“
“I had a tremendous experience with Tai Show Hibatchi. I worked with the manager, Dylan, who was a pleasure to do business with. He was communicative, detailed and professional. I had them cater our family event and everyone was pleased. The food was amazing, the portions were generous and the most impressive thing might be that Dylan had all 21 individual orders correct. Tai Show Hibatchi is on my short list of favorites and I would recommend them to anyone“
“Best sushi on Long Island, BY FAR. Zero Complaints. This place blows every place away with outstanding services, friendly staff, clean location. Again, zero complaints. The food does not even need an explanation. Everything you could order off the menu is delicious. My favor dishes are: live scallops, soft shell crab, any roll I’ve ever had. They even fully understand when you want to make something “build your own”. This should be your only sushi stop. They even have a location in bay shore, check them out if that’s more convenient for you!! I LOVE KUMO I CANT SAY IT ENOUGH!!“
“One of my go-to sushi spots for a few reasons. The price is a huge driving factor, especially in this economy sheesh! I'll keep it brief though, this sushi spot is right off the service road on the I-27. It may look a bit awkward on the inside because they share the location with a chinese take-out spot so both establishments are essentially connected at the hip. I love their lunch special here: Any 3 classic rolls & either soup, salad, or soda for under $15. They stuff these rolls too so I can never finish my meal in one sitting. I will say you pay for what you get however, this sushi is tasty but it definitely isn't the best sushi available. It is the most convenient and affordable though and for those reasons I will continue coming here when I need a quick sushi fix.“
“This place is great. It used to be called kumos and it was great. Then this whole experience was divine. The staff is very friendly and the food is so so good and they don't food. Shame you so they just keep the food coming. Everything was delicious. Tip your sushi guy and they send little special appetizers to your table ?“
“Came up saying I visited a year ago. I’ve actually visited several times since the latest being January 7, 2024. Love their food and there is plenty of it. Hibachi is so fresh and delicious and the gentleman cooking. It was a complete entertainer.“
“Love this place. Love the people. Always attentive. Good food at a great price. Hibachi is excellent. The sauces are great. The rolls are pretty damn good. The drinks are really good. Adult Cherry Coke is the best!12 30 2023: as good as always. Seafood Fried Rice was amazing. As was the Tako appetizer.“
“Best General Tso's chicken on Long Island. I've had it everywhere else and no, it didn't measure up !!! The god blessed meat seems to be a HUGE problem everywhere. This is the ONLY restaurant with decent General Tso's chicken meat. Also there other meats are good too. The fish is awesome. The ribs are delicious. So yeah, try the rest. Then have the best.“
“From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greet with warmth and grace. Each dish we tried was a masterpiece. The texture and taste was a remarkable experience for the taste buds, and we cannot wait to return to indulge in another culinary delight. Highly recommend for anyone who are sushi lovers and bubble tea lovers ~“
“An under-the-radar gem, Dake Korean (it's actually a Korean eaterie, not a sushi place) is a must visit and probably the best Korean food I've tasted on Long Island. My son was in the know about the place, and took me there for a belated birthday dinner. Started with excellent banchan and an amazing seafood pancake, then a dish of phenomenal squid and pork belly, all washed down with yummy soju. Loved Dake!“
“I recently visited Miko Sushi and was pleased with my overall experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great, although there were a few minor issues that I encountered.Firstly, I have to say that the food at Miko Sushi is definitely worth trying. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful, and the hibachi options were cooked to perfection. However, as the name suggests, the portions were on the smaller side, which may be an issue for some people, especially those who are used to larger food portions in American restaurants. The environment at Miko Sushi was pleasant, with a nice vibe and ambiance. However, I noticed that there were quite a few loud noises throughout my meal, which I found to be a little distracting. As someone on the spectrum, these constant loud noises did affect me a bit and took away from the overall dining experience. In terms of service, I found it to be decent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but I did notice that they seemed a bit impatient at times. They were quick to take our orders and bring out our food, but it would have been nice if they were a bit more attentive and patient with any questions or requests we had.Despite these minor issues, I do think that Miko Sushi is a great option for a family night out. The variety of options on the menu caters to different tastes and the quality of the food is definitely worth the visit. With a pleasant atmosphere and decent service, it's a nice spot to enjoy a meal with your loved ones.Overall, I would recommend Miko Sushi for anyone looking to try out some delicious sushi and hibachi dishes. Just keep in mind the smaller food portions and the potential for loud noises in the background. But if you can look past those things, you'll definitely enjoy your experience at Miko Sushi.“
“Very attentive staff and considerate of all customers good prices for good food!! I accidentally got the sashimi and they changed my order to sushi free of charge. They were even very accommodating to my allergies!! I’m allergic to shellfish and I got the tempura fried prawns minus the shellfish! They should raise the prices here absolutely love it!!!“
“This place is great for lunch since they have deals. A bento box is a good option since it bring plenty of food for a good price. The teriyaki chicken has good flavor. It is grilled perfectly then topped with the teriyaki sauce. The tempura veggies that comes with it has great flavor from the batter. Good “
“I just went to Kashi tonight for their grand re-opening. I brought my two daughters with me . We had the absolute best time! What a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is incredible. The food was sooo delicious. The server/ bartender Joe was the best . I’ve never had such a genuine, attentive professional and warm person serving me at a place . He really made the experience perfect and so enjoyable! I highly recommend this place. You will love it !!! A++++ thank you Joe and thank you to all the Kashi staff ! We love u ! :)“
“The best sushi and sashimi on Long Island, i eat the salmon everyday from here, its always fresh. Very clean & everyone who works here is very welcoming and hospitable. 10/10 recommend anything on the menu!Vegetarian options: They have lowkey veggie options here just read the menu“
