“I only order from China Star in my neighborhood.I ordered today and had it delivered due to my toddler napping. I ordered online, when I received it- one item was incorrect. After calling they explained how they make it differently (it was chow mein- they use cabbage not noodles) and they were so pleasant and delivered a replacement. And the food was delicious!“

“Purchased Sweet & Sour Chix combo here with a few other items last night. Got home and was missing the sweet and sour sauce. Augh. Not going back out. Well things happen. Went back the next day and they made me another fresh combo and we so apologetic. Been coming here for years. They treat the customer right.“

“Food was really good when we stopped by here. Price wise it was pretty much in line with most Chinese food restaurants.
The guy behind the counter is pretty cool and seems to always be ready to get your order started.
When we got bbq ribs they were kinda burnt but everything was really good.
It is a grab and go spot because there are no tables inside to sit and eat.
They are closed on mondays so just be mindful of that i like that the close at 10 during the week.

“I discovered this place 1 yr ago and there food is good. The owners are nice and respectful. The employee seem to be happy because it's the same faces. The only thing that bothers me is there ventilation. Every time I leave there my clothes smell like the restaurant and that do to ventilation.“

“Ordered from here twice and you know what, it wasnt bad at all. My family ordered the chicken n broccoli and the chicken and snowpeas large. They were both delicious. The pork fried rice is just okay it would be great it they had bigger chunks of pork in the rice. I suggest getting the regular large quarts of food rather than the combination platter because it has less food in it. Also the soup could have a better brothy taste to it. I would recommend this spot. I was also so glad that they deliver to my area. I placed the order over the phone which was pleasant and easy to understand the person on the other side. P.s we appreciate the free wontons that were given. Thank you and thank google for allowing me to submit my honest experience:)“
“This is my #1 Place for Chinese Food! I have tried my favorite dishes there, and they're all really good, but their Kung Pao Chicken is the ABSOLUTE BEST I've had! Only thing I get there everytime I go. No Peanuts with Bean Sprouts. They know its me when I call.“

“This place is my favorite. I eat in many restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cooking they cook is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.“

“This is our go-to for Chinese food on the island. We used to live in the city and this is the closest we've gotten to finding similar food. Great service and great food. We have never had an issue with the food over the years. Lunch specials are a steal honestly, as there aren't many places you can get a full meal (or two honestly) for $7.25.“

“They have a great location in the front of the mall. The outside is visible from the main road and it has some menu flyers in their windows. While the inside is smaller than I expected, there was pleanty of seating on a Tuesday. The wait staff was friendly and answered our questions. They appear to do a substantial take out business. We ate in and found it to be comfortable. The bathroom was clean and when asked for the password, the staff offered it. Right next door is the Westhampton Beach Brewery which recently opened.
The munu is vast and the print is small, so I took a photo of their specials to read on my phone.“

“The shrimp lo mein was flavorful and satisfying. The noodles were cooked just right—soft but not mushy—and had a nice, slightly chewy texture. The shrimp were fresh, plump, and well-seasoned, blending perfectly with the savory sauce. There was a good balance of vegetables like cabbage and carrots, which added a nice crunch. Overall, it’s a delicious and comforting dish that I would definitely order again.“

“My family orders 7/8 orders for my big family every friday and have to say they are my favorite chinese restaurant in long island. The woman that takes the orders and the young guy are very nice and remember you and always get the orders correct and the food is always perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant“

“We order from here all the time , actually Oriental Kitchen is closer to my home but they dont really put veggies in there fried rice we’re Gin Garden does put the right veggies in your rice and they are very prompt and fair priced..I’d rather pay a little extra and get the right food and service any day. Thank you Gin Garden. Keep up the Good work“

“I’ve been coming here since the original owners 25 years ago. The wonderful people who took over the restaurant after they sold it made it even better. Especially when we came back from Covid it seems they had upped their menu. They did things a little different and they were all for the better. They are always very nice and I absolutely love the food. It’s delicious! AAA+++“

“Have been going here for well over 20 years. Very good food and good quality. 99% of the time everything is perfect. Food is hot and tastes delicious. Portions are good as well. Staff is always nice and pleasant to deal with. For our family, it is our favorite Chinese Food restaurant in the area. Will continue to visit and enjoy!!!!“

“I picked up my food. I believe I got a free soda that day too. One time my card was hacked and I didn’t know, I called back to tell them to forget it and they gave me my food without me paying bc I ordered so much. Told me pay them back next time. I payed back the next time I ordered. I’ve never had a problem with the lady. And love the delivery drivers. Very nice all of them.“

“We have been looking for a good Chinese place for years! We don't get it very often because the places we have tried have always been subpar. However we recently tried Shanghai Garden for the first time and we both really liked it. We will be going back and highly recommend.“

“Yummy Milk tea, wasn't sure about ordering from here but I was really craving some boba. Since there is nowhere near here that has some I gave in. Best decision I could've made. Everyone was friendly here, smelled delicious too. Can't wait to try their food too!!“
