“Great location on the water. The service was impeccable, the waitress took order for 6 people without taking notes and nailed every meal and drink. Amazing. The clam chowder was delicious although the NY steak was a little tougher than I expected, but the side of truffle fries almost made up for it.Would return and recommend as all the dishes looked great.“
“My favorite Restaurant in the North Fork. Simple menu but you either need to come back 20 times and order something different each time or if you’re just visiting order the entire menu. You won’t be disappointed by a single item. Quick and consistent service. I’m shocked the food network hasn’t showed up here yet.“
“Very nice restaurant, a part of an inn. very specious inside but there is also sitting outside which is nice as it is between 2 buildings and you have plenty of shade. We had the Claude's Tacos (recommended), Fish and Chips ( a it blend, but I loved it), Lobster Roll (on a ban, but still excellent).“
“We are so glad to have tried this place despite the word "cafe" in its name. Everything we ordered was delicious, and beautifully presented. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Really like the decor, simple, clean and peaceful. Definitely on the return list, and if I were you, I would ignore some of the not so positive reviews of the place and give it a try!“
“Truly a hidden gem. Being a native North-forker, this is a great addition to local cuisine. The food, the setting and service are outstanding and worth every penny. Having eaten here several times, every meal (the beef bourgeoned, duck and penne ala vodka) has been outstanding. One note of criticism that hopefully ownership will hear, the menu says "crispy half duck", which one would assume means a "half duck" that includes breast, thigh and leg all in one piece. What I got was two leg quarters, or the back half of the duck leaving me to think the chef was saving the breast meat for something else. While it was delicious, I felt gipped, and if the server had told me "no breast meat" I would have ordered something else. So maybe something to think about for the future........“
“Still thinking about my perfectly seasoned and cooked (so tender) bone in pork chop. Everyone loved their dishes. My beet salad appetizer was delicious , oysters fresh and a lovely glass of delicious Sicilian wine. Good value, great dining experience.“
“I cannot praise this restaurant and the staff enough. My boyfriend and I had the most incredible night here, EVER! We were so lucky to find this place last minute. The decor is beautiful, from the bar, the dining room, to the smoking lounge. The manager/bartender/server for the night, Dylan, went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Our waitress was friendly and polite, we were even lucky enough to meet the head chef and sous. We also met the wonderful Jazz couple that performed the night we went. We stayed here for *hours*. No exaggeration!FANTASTIC FOOD AND DRINKS!! And for someone who eats at a lot of places, the pricing for everything was more than reasonable, especially for the quality. I still tell the story of my visit here, and i’m going to for years to come. I am so excited to go back with my friends and family. If you’re considering any restaurant in Southampton, for real, try Main Prospect.“
“We were going to drive through Riverhead and decided to stop somewhere for lunch. After googling restaurant options we chose Kenny's based on the location, menu and mention on News12 East End. Right away we knew it was the right location. It was a warm, inviting place with seating at tables or the bar. If the weather was not rainy we would have been able to enjoy outdoor seating with views of the golf course and Peconic River. Tim, the bartender introduced himself and asked us our names. He presented us with the regular and specials menu. The menu is very extensive and I was surprised to see how many specials there were. The sliced steak & smoked Gouda melt was a very big sandwich and delicious. I just wish I had taken a picture that reflected how thick it was. Tim was very attentive and friendly with all the clients. It's definitely a place worth returning to.“
“We recently held a family reunion at Stonewalls. Although we wanted to be outdoors, they placed the 30 of us inside as it was very hot. Many of the guests were happy about that! Those that wanted to go outdoors walked through the beautiful gardens where many of us took photos. My guests could not stop commenting on how fabulous the food was! The salmon, the chicken piccata, the pasta primavera......everything was delicious! My personal favorite was the beet salad which I'm so glad Alisha recommended. To top off the wonderful buffet, the strawberry shortcake was the best I've ever had. The chef imports his flour from France and other ingredients from Italy to make the tastiest, lightest cake! Our server (I neglected to get her name) was excellent! She had a lot to do to keep up with this crowd! I especially appreciated her patience trying to serve beverages when everyone was milling around and socializing. Lastly, there was such an abundance of food, that I asked if I could take leftovers home. They wrapped and boxed everything up and we ate it for days!! I highly recommend Stonewalls for a gathering!!“
“We’ve been going to BIRCHWOOD for over 15 years. Love the food, I never had a bad dish..ever! Also I had my 40 surprise birthday party there as well as having my daughters sweet 16. The staff and the family are great people and they have great events there all year long.“
“Such a great place, we go every year after we get our Christmas tree, nice warm days we walk across to the beach/water and take in the views. The food is great, service is great also. The restaurant is split with a bar side with TVs for more casual dining, or the dining room side. Great menu selection and specials are always good too!“
“My Dad's leash broke while surfing Ponquogue beach and we saw the sign for "surf shop" - went in to the little shack in the back and got a leash, then had lunch! They have good old greasy snack bar food and milk shakes among other things. All the fried seafood is tastey. Maybe a little expensive but cannot complain. Will be back for lunch if I'm surfing and in the mood for it“
“This is our best in the neighborhood, everyone gathers here on a regular basis for great food and good company, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, staff makes us all feel like familyParking: Large free parking lot close at handKid-friendliness: Great food choices for kids, they love the crispy pizza and the chicken tenders , they offer great desserts for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Accessable!“
“This place was perfect end to our visit to Bath. We were a party of 4 with very varied tastes- so we each picked 2 tapas- with no repeats- so good that we added 4 more, including dessert ( chocolate truffles and mojito sorbet were incredible combination).Vegetarian options: Many tapas options without meat.“
“First visit and a pleasure. I was driving home to Shelter Island and checking Dinner options. Low and behold, nothing open Monday night that i could make it to. Drive depressed and hungry and spotted lights and cars on left at North Sea Tavern. Best burger in long time, cooked perfectly juicy accompanied by delicious blue cheese side salad with tomatoes, carrots and fresh lettuce. Since it was wing night, had to try buffalo wings. Perfect, crisp, spicy and full of flavor. Look forward to next Monday when I can try some of every type. BBQ , Buffalo etc.“
“Love lane kitchen is a staple of Mattituck like Love Lane itself. Great food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service. Prices are fair. Unfortunately, this place like the rest of Love Lane becomes horribly overcrowded with tourists over the summer or weekends in pumpkin season. As a small restaurant, it gets CHAOTIC and completely ruins the experience if you try to sit down for a meal during these times. Rule of thumb - don't go in the summer or on weekends!“
