“Local old school baroom in a blue collar residential neighborhood. The beer was ice cold and the service was good. Had an excellent cheeseburger and was very happy with the tab. Definitely recommend if you are into quality over appearance. Although old it was extremely clean!”

“Yes. The course is in great shape. The rough is cut, the fairways are friendly and the greens are rolling nicely. It’s only open to the public through Saturday with a tournament scheduled for Sunday. However the restaurant vendor has already closed for the season. The course will be closed for the season on Monday. You should try to play Thursday through Saturday. You’ll be glad that you did.”

“I just went through the drive-thru of the Mechanicville McDonald's and there was a gentleman working by the name of Nick ( he was so friendly I asked him what his name was )My son can only eat things a certain way and Nick did it the exact way that I requested. “We came to Mama’s Pho on our way back to Vermont; arriving early at 4 we had the place to ourselves. Staff were courteous and attentive to our order. The place is clean and decorated in a way to feel like you were eating a home cooked meal. Food arrived in a timely manner. We enjoyed Vietnamese coffee, a mango smoothie and Thai Iced Tea to start with our vegetable egg rolls and spring roll; these were delicious starters.

Our pho tai, Phố đặc biệt, and Bún bò huế came out soon after with fresh mung bean sprouts, basil and lime. Broths were delightful with noodles and meats. You get a generous amount of food from these bowls. A delightful find.”

“Great happy hour spot. Don't arrive during happy hour for a dinner table without a reservation on a weekend night. High tops are seated for dinner guests only when guests finally are done with the long happy hour.

Drink specials at happy hour are worth the trip but someone has to wait in line at the door at 4:30 for high top seating. Meeting people at happy hour is easy because seating is close and you can hear everyone's chatter.
