The grilled chicken in the Greek salad was very moist and soft. Loved their 6 slice pizza too-great cheese and perfect amount of sauce that’s way less acidic than other local pizza, maybe partially because they use less sauce. Staff were very kind too. Highly recommend.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“We've been coming to Orto since it opened, and have brought family and friends several times. My husband proposed to me while we dined there four years ago and we recently went back to celebrate our anniversary. Every meal has been wonderful.“

“Visited this restaurant after show at Bellport Playhouse. Very nice inside and the service was amazing. My husband enjoyed his Filet Mignon, he loved it! My meal on the other hand, chicken della casa was not good at all. The chicken was so bland I couldn't eat it. I should have sent back but didn't by that point I lost my appetite. I did order the dessert tiramisu which was really good. I would go back but next time I would try another dish.“

“I have loved everything I have eaten here. The only thing I am not a fan of is the pizza. Staff makes you feel like family. The dinning room is small yet spacious. Every time we eat there we end up talking to other tables. I drive quite a distance to eat here. If you go you have to try the baked clams. They only serve cherry stone clams. So so good.

I called and told them the pizza wasn't even cut fully, so we were unable to eat it. “Happened upon this restaurant while visiting Port Jefferson. And glad we did. Got here early enough that we could get a table right away. Steve took great care of us without being overbearing. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, which were so freaking good. For main course my husband got the Chicken & Sausage Scarpiello, and I had the Veal Scallopini - both were delicious. We finished off sharing the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake. This exceeded my expectations. Everything was so good that my husband wants to go back tomorrow!“

“Really nice place with a rustic, romantic vibe. The food and service was excellent. Served hot and nicely portioned. Cesar salad was your with anchovies and dressed just right. Artichoke and spinach flatbread appetizer was excellent also.
My girlfriend got the Tuscan chicken over spaghetti and was a really nice portion. It needed a little salt but otherwise was perfect. I got the orrechetti with sausage and broccoli rabe and was very good. Sausage could have been cooked a little less and there could have been more broccoli rabe, but was still enjoyable. One other thing, they asked if I wanted cheese sprinkled on top, which I loved, but they used the wrong cheese. Instead of sprinkling grated Romano, they spooned on shredded parmesan. Not really appropriate for that dish.

“It was my first time dining here, and I was very pleased! We split the fried calamari arrabiata style, and I had the chicken mannino, which was a lighter dish cause of the vinegarette as opposed to a thicker sauce. My family enjoyed their dishes as well, and of course we saved room for dessert. The captain jack cake has become my top 5 favorite dessert of all time, and we will definitely dine here again! Shout out to Dawn, what a lovely waitress!“

“Whether you dine in or order pizza to go, you will be happy you went to Mama's. I love coming here on pasta nights (Monday and Tuesday) for the (very reasonably) fixed price meals that include soup/salad, entree, dessert, and wine. There's always enough to re heat for lunch the next day. If you have friends from out of town that want to try real long island pizza you should order from Mama's. I moved away and I cry every time I eat their za. The servers are so hard working and friendly. Shout out to Christy!! She's killing it!! Ps - pasta nights get BUSY so it would be smart to make a reservation.“

“I attended an event Friday night and this place blew me away on so many levels. The food was amazing, but the service was even better. Between Kaitlyn giving me a sample of one of the wines because I told her I was picky about wine and Zack accommodating an absolutely ridiculous request, they were all just amazing people. I’m autistic and I make some ridiculous requests sometimes, but Zack didn’t even bat an eye. I have pet rats and I saw that broccoli rabe was on the menu as a side, so I asked if I could take home like a single piece and he didn’t even blink, he just said to remind him before I left. I will definitely be patronizing them in the future“

“This place is for the foodies! We dinned at the Patchogue Location on a Saturday 4pm and had the place to ourselves which was nice. We ordered The Sals fried chicken bowl with caesar salad, it was so good! we also ordered the mac & cheese and this was probably one of the best i’ve ever had, 10/10 must try. “I cannot say enough good things about our first dining experience at Elaine's. From the moment we walked in the front of house manager and our waitress Bella treated us with the utmost respect and attention. We had our 16 month old with us and they kept checking to make sure she was OK and had what she needed so we could have a nice family date night.

The food was superb. Truly reminded me of being in Italy with the fresh high quality ingredients. We did the meatballs, Cesar salad (with house made dressing and croutons, gnocchi, bolognese and ended with canoli and cheesecake. Truly the perfect meal. We can't wait to come back.“

The chicken parm, chicken francaise, and pasta dishes were great. Hero was great too. I was a little hesitant hiring them only because I had never used them before. I decided to use them because we had gone there for dinner a few times and loved the meatballs and other dishes (chicken bruschetta for one) and their homemade dipping sauce for their bread. I could be happy with the dipping sauce and bread alone, delicious! We will definitely use them again to cater. They delivered and were right on time.“

“Pizza and calzones are always burnt, effecting the taste. Even when you ask the staff to cook it lightly, they still burn them. Calzones have way too much mozzarella cheese, and not enough ricotta cheese. Burnt is the norm here. Staff are friendly.“

“Ordered Pickup tonight on their app because it was New Year's Eve. Must have been busy because it was scheduled for 50 minutes after order completion (7:10pm). Even though I gave them my cell number they only confirmed my order by email. At 7:00pm I got a text that my order would be ready at 7:10pm. When I got my order home, the Family-Style Lasagna Bundle (serves 4-6) was crushed on one side so bad that the cheese was stuck to half of the aluminum lid. Even though I only live 15 minutes away, the included 12 Bread Sticks were still warm in their foil lined bags and the included Jumbo House Salad was still ice cold in it's plastic container including 12oz bottle of Olive Garden Salad Dressing (interestingly the expiration date on the bottle was the next day, still good though). Had to microwave each lasagna portion before serving. But the Meatballs (5) Parmigiana appetizers where an absolute joy. I ordered the Gallon Bellini Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea which was very tasty and went well with everything.“

“I recently dined at CIBO in Patchogue and ordered the Mediterranean Sea Bass, and it was delicious.The pan-seared filet was cooked beautifully — crisp on the outside with a tender, flaky inside. Their signature drink was soooo good ! The atmosphere at CIBO strikes a great balance between upscale and comfortable. Loved the colors. Tiffany, our server, was attentive and friendly, making the overall experience even better. Highly recommend and will be coming back.“

“The litteral only downside is that it's so popular it's a little cramped walking through the front door. And when the worst thing about your restaurant is it's too good that says a lot. The food is delicious and reasonably priced the torta del sol bring a notable stand out. The staff is friendly attentive and personable, and the bread is out of this world.
