I am writing to send a massive thank you to your team. I was in for dinner this past Friday night and accidentally dropped an earring. I didn't even notice it was gone until the next morning, and I truly assumed it was gone forever.
When I called the restaurant, I was so incredibly relieved to hear that a staff member (or kind guest) had found it and safely handed it over to the front desk.
Please let your crew know how much I appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. It’s actions like this that make an already great dining experience even more memorable,, and by way dinner and service was impeccable. I will definitely be back soon as I am a great fan of your restaurant.

“Just visited Osteria Umbra yesterday evening for the 2nd time. This place has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant on Long Island. The quality of the food is extraordinary, and the service/wait staff is second-to-none. Both times I visited, everyone in my group had a truly exceptional evening. From the moment you walk in the front door through the completion of dessert, this place provides first class service. The Black Truffle Taglierini in the Parmesan cheese wheel is a must try and delightful experience. The Australian Wagyu Tomahawk was absolutely delicious and well worth the order. The Italian Cheesecake is homemade, and is the best I have ever had. If you have the opportunity, make a visit and give this place a try. You won't regret it!“

Any meal I had there was excellent. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is family oriented. So it is like having a hug with dinner. I like that appetizers, soup, salad, main meal are brought out in steps. That way you can enjoy the courses. This has been my favorite spot to eat since last summer. Had taken my family members there. Me and one of my good friends go there all the time. My first time there, they made me mocktails that I requested. They were great.

“What a wonderful find in Smithtown. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh mussels, shrimp, and calamari, while the baked stuffed mushrooms were rich and savory.

Everything was presented beautifully. I particularly loved the vibrant touch of fresh herbs sprinkled over all the plates. It made the entire meal feel that much more special.

We topped off our evening with a refreshing, perfectly chilled cocktail garnished with a lime slice. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was just as great as the food. I will definitely be back.“

“Found this hidden gem while running some lunchtime errands and wandered in to grab a quick bit. I didn't have high expectations but I have say it was a pleasant surprise. “We go to the Bistro all the time. We recently had my husband’s retirement party there for 70 people- open bar, catered food, and hired DNA band. Chris, the manager, went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything was perfect. Chrissy the bartender is the BEST! The food is amazing! Their ‘Chicken pink’ is a favorite, and everyone raves about the food! It is a nice atmosphere- if you just want to sit at the bar and order off the bar menu, and watch the game on the huge tv, or sit and listen to the entertainment, or have a nice family dinner… I definitely recommend!“

From their pizza to pasta, to rolls and salads.. even their garlic bread. The hospitality they all provided, especially Benny, was enough to make you remember them forever.. then you add on their food? Forget it. Nothing holds a candle to this place and the family. They are SORELY missed! I have yet to find a salad/vinaigrette, or a marina sauce, from any other place that comes close to this place. I dream of that antipasto!!
