“Just visited Osteria Umbra yesterday evening for the 2nd time. This place has quickly become my favorite Italian restaurant on Long Island. The quality of the food is extraordinary, and the service/wait staff is second-to-none. Both times I visited, everyone in my group had a truly exceptional evening. From the moment you walk in the front door through the completion of dessert, this place provides first class service. The Black Truffle Taglierini in the Parmesan cheese wheel is a must try and delightful experience. The Australian Wagyu Tomahawk was absolutely delicious and well worth the order. The Italian Cheesecake is homemade, and is the best I have ever had. If you have the opportunity, make a visit and give this place a try. You won't regret it!“

“Visited this restaurant after show at Bellport Playhouse. Very nice inside and the service was amazing. My husband enjoyed his Filet Mignon, he loved it! My meal on the other hand, chicken della casa was not good at all. The chicken was so bland I couldn't eat it. I should have sent back but didn't by that point I lost my appetite. I did order the dessert tiramisu which was really good. I would go back but next time I would try another dish.“

Any meal I had there was excellent. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is family oriented. So it is like having a hug with dinner. I like that appetizers, soup, salad, main meal are brought out in steps. That way you can enjoy the courses. This has been my favorite spot to eat since last summer. Had taken my family members there. Me and one of my good friends go there all the time. My first time there, they made me mocktails that I requested. They were great.

“What a wonderful find in Smithtown. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh mussels, shrimp, and calamari, while the baked stuffed mushrooms were rich and savory.

Everything was presented beautifully. I particularly loved the vibrant touch of fresh herbs sprinkled over all the plates. It made the entire meal feel that much more special.

Always great food and staff, we have even used their catering and the owner Sal always comes over and says hi! Keep it small and make sure you come to this amazing small business. Skip the sushi and big chain restaurants 😂“

“We catered for 100 people from Branchanelli’s earlier this month. All of the food was delicious. It was fresh and hot when we picked it up. The tray of calamari was crispy and you can tell it was just cooked. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed their dinner.“

From their pizza to pasta, to rolls and salads.. even their garlic bread. The hospitality they all provided, especially Benny, was enough to make you remember them forever.. then you add on their food? Forget it. Nothing holds a candle to this place and the family. They are SORELY missed! I have yet to find a salad/vinaigrette, or a marina sauce, from any other place that comes close to this place. I dream of that antipasto!!
