“We hired Zambistro to cater our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing, our guests are still talking about it, especially the steak! The servers the day of were so sweet, and Summer kept checking in on my husband and I to make sure we had everything we needed. She truly made us feel cared for. Mike and Kara were also wonderful throughout the planning process, always quick to answer questions and make sure every detail was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better catering team. Highly, highly recommend!”

Their Chile Colorado is one of those dishes people whisper about — big, tender chunks of steak saturated with flavor! In the summer they’ve got this tall-roof setup outside where people sit around like they’ve finally figured out how to enjoy a day. Inside the decor is colorful and lively, though the lighting is a bit dim. Over the years this restaurant has grown bit by bit, the way good places do, until suddenly it’s the spot half the town swears by as their go-to place for an affordable night out.”

“Sicilian style pizza is worth the price. Cup and char, sweet sauce with garlic crust. Seasoned well so if you’re not a garlic fan go with regular crust. Eggplant parm sub is great, like the steak and cheese. The Royal will be the next one I try. Always have my order ready on time. Thanks Tim”

“first time visit last week for lunch,I have eaten all other places in Medina but never here. What a great lunch (shepherds pie) was delicious and shared fries with my friend and they too were very good. I loved the atmosphere, truly a hidden gem. Prices we perfect!”

“Doug’s Pizza sits next to a hair salon and a laundromat in a strip mall where dreams go to die. Yet, inside glory burns! The smell hits first: molten cheese, lightly scorched crust and basil. You don’t expect salvation from a place like this, but Doug’s delivers it in a cardboard box.

Doug, the working class hero behind the counter has the thousand-yard stare of a man who’s seen too much dough, too many last minute orders before closing time. He slides over the box like it’s contraband.

I open it in the car to find divine clarity. The cheese stretches like electric taffy. The chewy crust crackles. The sauce tastes like somebody’s grandmother still believes in God and tomatoes slow-cooked for hours. It’s beautiful, and profoundly American — the kind of pizza that makes you believe the universe still knows mercy.”
