“Im glad we have this location and the acai is usually fine but the service is not that great. I had placed an order online and When I arrived nothing was ready. She then seemed upset at me that she hadn’t made the bowl when it was her error. I wasn’t upset or anything, I just waited and said thank you and got no response. She didn’t say one word and as a service industry employee I think communication is important.“

“Daisy from Sobol is beyond the best cashier I have ever come across. The first night I came in at about 6:53 just 7 mins before closing and she said she just cashed out so she made one on the house for me. Booster!!! Then I came in yesterday on my bday June 4th 1986 / 2025 and she gave me my second bowl on the house. I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for Daisy bc she’s the bomb.com. “I’m here at least once a week, it’s the best açaí of the local places….not freezer burned, not sweet but not bitter either and the consistency is scoop-able and great. Been coming for years! The product is super fresh. Different locations have different products like lunch items, the smaller locations tend to focus on breakfast. They have a young staff all really nice. Highly recommend.“

I had a problem with my doordash order (door dashes fault not Sobols) and Lauren and Felicia quickly resolved it and remade my order after my doordash driver dropped it and it exploded all over the bag. “This place used to be my favorite açaí joint. My family and I would always go here. But recently (not sure why) they got rid of their kosher certification. It’s really a bummer. We were constant customers and losing a place like this was a bit annoying. We have the kosher playa bowls also in merrick but it’s just not as good. I love sobol don’t get me wrong but if they could just bring back the kosher certification it would be really appreciated.“

“Our first time ordering here. The food was good, and I don't know how they're making their whipped cream but it was absolutely amazing. But I really wrote this to say a thank you to the Sunday morning staff there on 10/12. There was a mix up and we didnt get a lg part of our order. Bagel chalet had their driver drop off our missing items in less than 15mins. There's no accountability for restaurants in the age of door dash/ uber eats. Ive had entire orders swapped out and restaurants blame Uber, Uber blames the restaurant, we get a credit and no one cares where the mess up was.“
