“This place used to be my favorite açaí joint. My family and I would always go here. But recently (not sure why) they got rid of their kosher certification. It’s really a bummer. We were constant customers and losing a place like this was a bit annoying. We have the kosher playa bowls also in merrick but it’s just not as good. I love sobol don’t get me wrong but if they could just bring back the kosher certification it would be really appreciated.“

“Very nice team here, good vibes and multiple different kinds of vegetarian/vegan options. We had lunch at almost 2:30pm and the food was fresh. There were probably 5-10 people eating, this is clearly a popular spot.
updating my review because I posted before I had actually tried the food. It's really good. I got the chicken gyro pita and my wife got the vegan Impossible burger. My gyro tasted really good and healthy. Not overly oily and had the right amount of salt.

“I love coming to Bango Massapequa. Not only are the bowls absolutely amazing and everything is always fresh, the staff are always friendly. Griffin is the one who usually takes care of my order, and he always gets my order right no matter how complicated and lovely to talk too. I can’t wait to see him next time I go in!“

“Organic krush is amazing and filled with a ton of healthy fresh options. The food is delicious and the there is a large selection. The smoothies and pressed juices are 🔥. “Lauren and Felicia made my order and it was delicious! I had a problem with my doordash order (door dashes fault not Sobols) and Lauren and Felicia quickly resolved it and remade my order after my doordash driver dropped it and it exploded all over the bag. They’re super friendly and great hard workers. I’ll definitely be ordering from this location again :)“

“My second time here, I loved the açaí bowl the first time, overpriced but make sense , it’s delicious and fresh ingredients, so it’s worthy, however the experience I had this morning with the lady in the front was horrible, 0 professional and tbh I wouldn’t go back to be treated like that. But oh boy, the coconut bowl it’s so good.“

“I love Playa Bowls! Even though I’m closer to the Oceanside location, I make the drive to Merrick because the Team is fantastic!! Teresa, Eli, Adriana, Jaelyn and Quinn deserve to be recognized for their outstanding performance!!
