I went to this place for the 1st time with my boyfriend yesterday. We had no idea it was even there but everybody should know about it. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Great flavor and spices. The service was also extremely attentive and staff made us feel very welcome. A great southern flair experience!
Went there tonight for LI restaurant week. Enjoyed every minute there. The food was great (omg the gumbo!!!!) very big portions. The service was very good, the waitress was nice, we had a lovely conversation with her. Will definitely go back and recommend to my friends.

Food and drinks were great. Good size portions. Just a warning-some of their blackened food is REALLY spicy (ie alligator skewers). Plenty of seating and a decent size bar area. They had live entertainment and he was good, doing a lot of 60's and 70's music. (Previously The Bayou in Bellmore and the current restaurant was former site of RS Jones)
