“For my daughter's sweet 16, she insisted on a specific cake in a specific color and size. NYC Birthday Cakes made her dream come true! The order process was extremely easy and I was able to provide a swatch so that they could match the color as best as possible. (color matching fondant is not easy - I've made cakes myself but didn't have the time now) We only had 40 people and 4 layers (6:, 8", 10" & 12") would have been too much cake. So, they made the top layer and bottom layer with a cake form instead of cake. The two middle layers were red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the vanilla with chocolate mousse. They were absolutely delicious!! The cake was delivered to the venue on time and as promised. These are truly professionals and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a special cake! (FYI - we bought the topper on our own)“

It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. Glad it was not too sweet that I was able to enjoy large servings of this delightful dessert. Great with coffee or tea.“

“I’d long oogled over Lucie’s Instagram account and finally I got to visit the bakery irl earlier this week and it didn’t disappoint. A cozy and charming spot with ofcourse beautiful AND delicious cakes. The fromage frais icing was so light and the perfect pairing to the carrot cake. I also loved the earl grey icing on the sponge cake-so inventive and not too floral, just right. Also it’s worth noting that the bakers in the kitchen looked very happy working there which says a lot I think. Hard recommend going here for a slice of calm and something scrummy in the city. Oh and the cappuccinos are so light and frothy! Can’t stop raving x“

“My sister was having a beach chic baby shower because her and her husband do not want to know the gender. She wanted cupcakes that looked like succulents that also taste delicious. I immediately thought of Huascar and asked if he could do it. I traveled to Florida with them and they were a hit. Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. Everyone who ate a piece of my birthday cake could not be more satisfied with the level of artistry in the decoration as well as the execution of the taste of the cake itself. I don't think I can go back to buying store bought cakes. They would just fail in comparison!“

I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! All four were so delicious that it was hard to decide. After a few bites of each, my mom and I definitely loved the almond cake. We ordered a two-tier cake with stunning floral decorations. My daughter and her fiancé were so pleased and their guests all commented on how delicious the cake was. Amy was a pleasure to work with. My nephew devoured his mint chocolate chip. It's far better than Baskin Robbins. While a bit pricey, the cost is reasonable given the high quality. 10/10, highly recommend.“

“I was referred here by a friend and this place is seriously a 10/10. From the moment I called and told them I needed a cake within 24 hours, they were super friendly, professional, and helpful. I sent over a photo and explained what I wanted, and they nailed it.

I ordered the Mochaccino flavor, and it was honestly a 10/10. So good. I even traveled all the way from Manhattan because the price, customer service, design, and taste were totally worth it.
