“For my daughter's sweet 16, she insisted on a specific cake in a specific color and size. NYC Birthday Cakes made her dream come true! The order process was extremely easy and I was able to provide a swatch so that they could match the color as best as possible. (color matching fondant is not easy - I've made cakes myself but didn't have the time now) We only had 40 people and 4 layers (6:, 8", 10" & 12") would have been too much cake. So, they made the top layer and bottom layer with a cake form instead of cake. The two middle layers were red velvet with cream cheese frosting and the vanilla with chocolate mousse. They were absolutely delicious!! The cake was delivered to the venue on time and as promised. These are truly professionals and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a special cake! (FYI - we bought the topper on our own)“

“So happy Byclio Bakery is in the neighborhood. Their birthday cakes are stunning and the flavors are off the charts. We had the espresso chocolate frosting for my wife’s birthday and everyone raved about it. The entire staff was super friendly and professional and it was easy to track my order by text. “Maria’s Sans Rival cake lives up to the meaning of its name, undoubtedly unrivaled. It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. Glad it was not too sweet that I was able to enjoy large servings of this delightful dessert. Great with coffee or tea.“

“Esteban is THE BEST. The arepas are great, sure. But come and sit down and chat with the owner who will take the best care of you, make you feel like family, and make you laugh a little too. Great little spot in the LES for a late night bite. Don’t sleep on this place!

The attendee accidentally messed up my order but she gave me a discount for the error and some mini cupcakes on the house! I ordered the plátano maduro muffin and was super impressed! Really yummy! “Got the popular pistachio raspberry cake slice and the mango passion fruit mousse cake. They were both great. The cake slice looks slim but is quite filling. The mango passionfruit mousse had a coconut base which was a little too sweet but the tanginess from the mousse balanced it well. Overall, it’s a decent spot to go to for those sweet cravings.“

Tangy Raspberry preserves made from scratch by Jaclyn as well between the layers. “My sister was having a beach chic baby shower because her and her husband do not want to know the gender. She wanted cupcakes that looked like succulents that also taste delicious. I immediately thought of Huascar and asked if he could do it. I traveled to Florida with them and they were a hit. We called ahead to check if they were open, and the staff answered immediately and were incredibly helpful. Highly recommend their ??taro crème brûlée cream puff. It was a normal, slightly small size but really delicious.

The lemon yogurt bread thing was ok, I like the dried pork outside with lemon flavor, but the bread was kinda dry.

“The Asian American person across the counter was soooo warm and kind, she made me wanna visit again. She made me a pretty hot fudge sundae with vanilla chocolate twist and whipped cream, cherry. She was extremely patient with our customizations (I visited first time). This place does not feel like a chain at all and has a very neighborhood shop feel to it. The ice cream is great in taste and smooth in texture but too huge for medium size. I will get a small next time. The prices are very affordable and worth the experience.“

“I stumbled across this bakery after having a birthday dinner at Mas Tortilla a few blocks away. It was a great find.

I ordered a cappuccino, 2 Grand Opening cupcakes, and a box of macarons for my bf and I to share and it was all sooo good.

The cupcakes had a passionfruit icing/paste that I could tell was made with real passionfruit on the inside and the cake was the perfect texture and moisture level. As good as the cupcakes were though, the real star of the show was the macarons. They were out of this world. We tried one of every flavor and I was not let down. My favorites were the fruity pebbles and the earl grey.

I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything!
