“I was actually a bit surprised. I have lived here 3+ years, and I only thought Wally's was soft serve ice cream. Although they don't have their own homemade ice cream like some of the other local ice cream joints, they have an array of many flavors from several different local brands. They do have soft serve as well if that's your jam. The other standout is customer service. They have at least 3 windows open with very speedy and friendly service. I also love the feel of that 50's ice cream parlor. It's definitely worth a visit.“

“very tasty food we often come here in the summer. great variety of flavors and menu items. the employees are great. one time i wasnt thinking straight and ordered a milkshake made with watermelon sorbet (gross, dont do that) and the guy taking my order warned me not to do that. wish i listened, he was very considerate! the view from the seating area is amazing. lots of seating options for customers to enjow the scenery, great photo op too i guess. coolest ice cream place in the area is 100% recommend!“

“Their ice cream is delicious! They have so many flavors and toppings to choose from. Any time I have a party, I get my ice cream cake from here. The prices are reasonable and the ice cream cakes are always a hit! They need a little time to prepare custom orders, but they also have premade ones available in their freezer.I highly recommend Chester Ice Cream!“

“Amazingly good ice cream at a walk up window. We went on a night with pouring rain and locals were lined up to buy their orders. Service was friendly and quick and clean. There were many different types of ice cream and ways to have it served. It tasted just wonderful. All 9 of us, from children to grandparents, were delighted. Highly recommended. Sorry we have to eat anything other than ice cream.“

They have an incredible variety of flavors and foods (all the Italian Ice you can dream of but also cold bevvies, hot dogs, and even BEC for the morning games) Their outdoor pavilion is spacious and clean and offers first base line seating for one of the fields.
