28 Best Ice Cream Shops near West Haverstraw

“After bike ride meal. Place is packed with bikers on good weather weekends though many just getting Powerade.“

“The ice cream is good but the manager was rude. I went in with 5 people and I was paying on my own and when they ask whose next it was my turn . When I got to the counter she stated I was with the other woman. I explained I am paying my own so I would be next. She said I had to wait til they were done as I was part of that group . So needless to say by the time I received my order I had to take it to go as my friends were done with their ice cream . The young woman who helped me was very nice but the manager/owner needs lessons in customer service.“

“This place is amazing!! The atmosphere is incredible and there are so many delicious options. Uzma served us and she was such a delight to talk to and you could tell she really cares about the store and customer experience! We will definitely be back!“

“I was there for the first time a few weeks ago. Was so impressed! The vanilla soft serve actually had flavor. Most places I make them put a ton of toppings on just so it has some flavor. Also, the medium was so large my two nieces that normally want larges could barely finish it. So you definitely get your moneys worth. My only question is I want to bring a friend who’s allergic to eggs. I called the shop and they said they didn’t know if there was eggs in the ice cream (If it wasn’t for my friend, I would never know that many places like Carvel does use eggs to make it more creamier). So do you use eggs in your soft serve?“

“How could you NOT recommend The Blue Pig? 10/5 stars“

“My family and I went in and this place is such a gem. I had the dulce de leche paleta and it tasted like the perfect caramel bar, we also ordered cotton candy, coconut and strawberry ice cream. Super nice staff, excellent spot in town. Go get some ice cream or paleta (popsicles!!)“

“The associate working there his name is Absar and I could not have asked for better service. He truly is THE MAN!!!! I loved his service and I’ll be sure every time I go to Woodbury that I go to his Haagen-dazs location in market hall. Absar is the best“

“Wednesday is Sundae. BOGO“

“Been looking for a frozen yogurt place and this fit the bill. It’s a big clean looking place, plenty of seating. Lots of flavors to choose from. So far I’ve tried the strawberry cheesecake ( so-so) and raspberry pomegranate. Both quite tasty. The selection of toppings is outstanding, although some items like the peanut butter cups and brownies were stale. Fruit was fresh.
Defiantly a place to go back to and try other flavors.“

“Glacé 👍🏽 Milkshakes 😋 Hot Fudge Sundaes 🤗“

“Both their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are incredible. Classic tri-state deli staples and Latin inspired dishes, and they all hit. Also incredibly well priced which is hard to find today. Best of all, the staff are some of the friendliest, kindest people you’ll ever meet. Can’t recommend enough.“

“First time there today at the Nyack store, chose my personal favorite black raspberry and it was awesome! I am kind of a connoisseur of this flavor, and this was super delicious! Staff was also very friendly and the store nice and clean.“

“Rita’s on the 59 is delicious and the inside is very clean. The staff was very friendly and works quickly. They do have the option for cholov yisroel ice cream in addition to the standard frozen custard. Id highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be coming back“

“Great Shake Shack! I stopped here for dinner not too long ago, and I have no complaints. Plenty of parking out front, and tons of seating inside. The kiosk ordering was quick and efficient, and the food came our very quick. Not to mention, the employees were spectacular! One of the workers was even coming around to every table offering sauce packets and napkins. I tried the big shack, which was delicious, and my shake and fries were also amazing. The inside is clean and modern, with a bunch of seating, as I mentioned before. There is also outdoor seating. The thing I love about all Shake Shacks is that they always have a free water dispenser and cups. This is super convenient so that you don't have to pay extra for a drink. A great place to stop for a quick and delicious meal.“

“Love this brand’s frozen yogurt! The fruit was fresh, and the yogurt was great—not too sweet and very refreshing.

There are three sizes: small, medium, and large. For me, the small was more than enough because the portion was huge!“

“muy bueno, servicio rápido.“

“This place shares it's space with Dunkin Donuts. Not much variety in favors but they do change it up when they add new flavors.Tried their totally wrapped milkshake and it was delicious.Friendly and speed service despite their being a queue which is not that often.“
