“I was there for the first time a few weeks ago. Was so impressed! The vanilla soft serve actually had flavor. Most places I make them put a ton of toppings on just so it has some flavor. Also, the medium was so large my two nieces that normally want larges could barely finish it. So you definitely get your moneys worth. My only question is I want to bring a friend who’s allergic to eggs. I called the shop and they said they didn’t know if there was eggs in the ice cream (If it wasn’t for my friend, I would never know that many places like Carvel does use eggs to make it more creamier). So do you use eggs in your soft serve?“

They took us to Riverside Scoops which was such a treat…Really great ice cream, lovely setting and wonderful customer service. My grandchildren loved their cones, my husband totally enjoyed his large cup with cinnamon bun and vanilla (which he couldn’t stop raving about) and I had the Smore Sundae…absolutely delicious!!! “Great Shake Shack! I stopped here for dinner not too long ago, and I have no complaints. Plenty of parking out front, and tons of seating inside. The kiosk ordering was quick and efficient, and the food came our very quick. Not to mention, the employees were spectacular! One of the workers was even coming around to every table offering sauce packets and napkins. I tried the big shack, which was delicious, and my shake and fries were also amazing. The inside is clean and modern, with a bunch of seating, as I mentioned before. There is also outdoor seating. The thing I love about all Shake Shacks is that they always have a free water dispenser and cups. This is super convenient so that you don't have to pay extra for a drink. A great place to stop for a quick and delicious meal.“

They offer a great selection of soft and hard ice creams, along with a nice variety of cakes and cones for special occasions. And they have late hours. Always a satisfying stop!“

The service is pretty basic—most of the time it’s students working there, and they mainly just handle the checkout without much interaction.

On my last visit, I added walnuts like I usually do, but they didn’t taste fresh this time.
