“Solaia was a pleasant surprise for me on my husband’s birthday last week. He chose this restaurant as his preferred location for his birthday dinner and it was a great choice. The service from the moment we were trying to find the right door to enter through bc it was raining to the moment we received our check it was hand and foot. I appreciated that bc the level and attention to detail of service usually predicates how the rest of the night goes.

Calamari Fritti. 10/10 Simple dish executed very well and you can tell the Calamari was fresh. The squeeze of the lemon wedge on top absolutely took it up a notch. Great appetizer. The spicy tomato sauce that pairs with this is EXCELLENT.

Endive Gorgonzola Insalata. 8/10 I appreciated this salad bc of my time in Belgium when I played professional basketball. The endive is bitter, the Gorgonzola is sour and fatty, the balsamic glaze was sweet as well as the walnuts that added to the texture. My only criticism was I needed another soft delicate lettuce (butter crisp maybe) to compliment the endives and that would’ve made this a 10/10 for me.

Roasted Artichoke Hearts. 10/10 First time really having authentic Italian Artichoke Hearts and I WANT MORE. The way they fanned out the hearts at the end was so aesthetically pleasing. The garlic and oil was robust but it was so good. The stems were more hardier than the delicate tender leaves. I’ve been thinking about this dish since we left.

Mushroom Risotto w Jumbo Shrimp. 10/10 My goodness the mushroom flavor was STRONG and I’m convinced now that I pondered on it a for a few days that they used dried mushrooms and rehydrated them. The rice was perfect Al Dente. I can come back just for this and a glass of wine. Shrimp were so fresh.

Salmon Dish. My husband got the Salmon Pasta dish that he ate with no complaints. I did not taste it like I normally do but next time.

“I'm so happy to be the 690th reviewer of this place. My partner and I were driving from New York City back Upstate and we needed a quick place to grab delicious food that wasn't a chain restaurant. We love going to local spots.

We were so lucky to catch this place as it was closing. The pizza is fantastic (I'm writing this review with a slice in my mouth!) and Laz really took great care of us. Not only was he super kind, but his energy was amazing and he really made our night.

“Awesome bakery, authentic and as good as it gets. A remark, however on the apple and blueberry turnover:: Barely any fruit inside, like a thin schmear of jam. Totally wrong fruit to pastry ratio, I ended up not eating as the pastry shell was also bready. But the rest of my selection was so good, still 5-Star overall on this last visit. Turnovera aside, got a nice bag of goodies for $20, great by weight and taste!”

“It is weird but I stopped eating bagels because (to put it nicely) they stopped me up. Monticello Bagels does not do that. Next: Their everything bagel does not seem SUPER SALTY like everywhere else. Next: They have gotten a little smaller over the years. I would love if they put them back to the size they were 7 years ago. Next: The breakfast sandwiches are great.. The tuna on bagel is good. Next: I think they don't put enough lox spread or cream cheese. I like it to be more than a thick smear. People say he has the best coffee. I believe LaChula in Liberty Mall has the best Columbian Coffee. OVERALL: I 💘 MONTICELLO BAGELS. I have been going here for about 20 years. When I lived in NYC area, I used to come up house hunting in Livingston Manor & would stop here. I don't live so close anymore but everytime I am in the area, I usually stop by. I now have a gluten allergy & still consume one anyway. I always get mine toasted & to date I haven't found a better bagel in NYS.”

“I was at Kartrite water resort with the family, and whenever you stay at these resorts, they hold you hostage with poor quality food. Nelly's is only 5 minutes away. This place has soul; the food is great with authentic dishes, the prices are budget friendly, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is clean and casual. We need to support these privately owned ma and pop establishments. Or the only thing that will be left is a BK or Wendy's on ever corner.”

“The fried chicken was on point . We wanted to try to the bougey viet place next door but I saw 5 tables still waiting and service appeared slow. Maybe that's their motif but I like the buffets no nonsense hurry up and buy pace . This buffet had all the pace and fried chicken to satiate any country or urban dweller. Also they had water melon . I like fried chicken and watermelon.”

“Quick delicious food. Short ride from Kartrite Indoor Water part. We enjoyed their wonton noodle soup, beef and broccoli, beef brisket, laksa and Korean BBQ Pork and Kimchi. You order on the counter like in a fast food restaurant, food was quickly made which was perfect for my hungry group. Served in plastic containers (to go style) and ample sitting was available. Good food and fast. (Sorry no food pics, it was eaten as soon as it landed the table.)”

Very quick service too. I walked in to order a pie pizza, and literally walked out around 3 minutes later with the pie in my hands, even though the store was quite busy then.”

“Very underrated subway here, service is nice and they seem to always be in stock on stuff. Not a lot of people come to this subway (or this mall in general) so it’s mostly not packed and usually quiet inside. Subs and sandwiches are made pretty quickly too, just wanted to add that.”

“Was there on a very busy Saturday night. Was able to sit at the bar . The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calming considering how busy it was. I would definitely go again. Bar tender was super attentive even tho it was super busy!!!!! Had a great time !!!”
