“I'm so happy to be the 690th reviewer of this place. My partner and I were driving from New York City back Upstate and we needed a quick place to grab delicious food that wasn't a chain restaurant. We love going to local spots.

We were so lucky to catch this place as it was closing. The pizza is fantastic (I'm writing this review with a slice in my mouth!) and Laz really took great care of us. Not only was he super kind, but his energy was amazing and he really made our night.

“2024 update! They entirely renovated this place, they added a huge outdoor seating with probably over 100 people can sit. Best Kosher Pizza and good crust.

Chezky’s isn’t just a pizza shop — it’s that classic country-town hangout where the pizza is hot, the fries are fresh, and the chevra is even hotter (from running in and out between Mincha and Maariv).
The pies here hit that perfect balance: crispy crust, leibidik cheese pull, and a sauce with real taam, not the watery stuff you get in a random rest stop off the highway. You take one bite and you’re like, “Okay, this is not stam bungalow pizza — this is the real deal.”
And it’s not just pizza. The falafel, knishes, calzones, fries, and all the extras are mamash geshmak. You can come in “just for a slice,” and somehow walk out with half the menu, a story, and a couple of new friends.
The vibe inside? Total Israeli–yeshivish blend. “Take it from me I’ve lived in NYC my whole life and I’m a pizza snob. The Sicilian slice here is excellent. The dough is airy and fluffy but still crispy. The mozzarella actually tastes fresh and real. The sauce has that clean tomato flavor with a slight sweetness. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. I haven’t tried anything else here, and honestly I probably wouldn’t from the outside it doesn’t look like a place I’d expect much from but the Sicilian is no joke.“

“Never trying this place and working very close by I decided to get some pizzas for a friday night because my go to pizza place was closed for vacation. The pizza was the best ive had in a long time and have now orderd the past 2 Fridays also trying the buffalo chicken salad and chicken marsala dinners and they were wonderful.
