“Maybe it depends who's working at that time. I placed an order for penne with sausage and one with meat sauce for my husband .
It was ready when we got there, and still hot when we got back to the campground at Spring Glenn.
The Employees will make or break the business.“

“Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table! What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. If you want a five star experience with both food and service, go to Pelligrinos!“

“If you’ve spent even five minutes in Woodridge, you already know: Chezky’s Pizza is basically the community headquarters.
Chezky’s isn’t just a pizza shop — it’s that classic country-town hangout where the pizza is hot, the fries are fresh, and the chevra is even hotter (from running in and out between Mincha and Maariv).
The pies here hit that perfect balance: crispy crust, leibidik cheese pull, and a sauce with real taam, not the watery stuff you get in a random rest stop off the highway. You take one bite and you’re like, “Okay, this is not stam bungalow pizza — this is the real deal.”
And it’s not just pizza. The falafel, knishes, calzones, fries, and all the extras are mamash geshmak. You can come in “just for a slice,” and somehow walk out with half the menu, a story, and a couple of new friends.
The vibe inside? Total Israeli–yeshivish blend. You’ve got the heimishe oilam, a few bochurim shmoozing in the corner, kids running around with slushies, and music playing just enough to give you that “I’m on vacation in the mountains” feeling. It’s the unofficial Vaad HaCountry Meeting Place — if you sit there long enough, you’ll bump into your neighbor, your chavrusa, your cousin, and probably your landlord too.
Service is friendly and patient, even when the place is hopping. They handle the Erev Shabbos and Motzaei Shabbos rush with a smile — and somehow your order still comes out right, piping hot, and b’hiddur.
So yeah, Chezky’s Pizza is one of those spots that makes Woodridge feel like home. Great food, heimishe atmosphere, and real “Israeli vibes” with a yeshivish twist. Can’t wait for them to reopen — because for many of us, a trip to the country just doesn’t feel complete without a slice (or three) from Chezky’s.“

“I was craving some real pizza. Not the chain stuff like Dominos or Pizza Hut. I've tried all the others and I drove past Bella Lenas and stopped in. i had guests at home so I ordered the XL pie, half buffalo half cheese pizza. the pizza was slamming. Not drowning in sauce and just the right amount of everything. Everyone loved it. And it's a family business. Big plus in my book. The owners were wonderful.“

“Not only is the food amazing but the owners are incredible! Super family friendly atmosphere at a great price. We have been going since before our daughter was born and now she loves our Friday tradition. She lights up the second she realizes we are there. Thank you Pizza Mania for always being consistently amazing!“

“This delightful gem is so charming, so full of character, so well staffed and so delicious from gourmet appetizers to killer pizza creations to tasty libations (and an impressive and well curated bar). This is capped off by the maestro Sara who effortlessly makes it all even better some how. I plan to hit The Dale up whenever I’m even kinda close by. 5 *****“

“Caputo’s chicken cutlet gets a 6/10—mediocre when fresh, with a buffalo chicken taste that clashed with the veggies, but oddly better when cold. Their pizza’s solid, a go-to for me, but the rice and beans were bland yet still satisfying. Reliable spot, but not without its flaws.
I always get it delivered“

“I was at the resturant and to my opinion this was the worse ribeye I’ve ever had in the last few years, don’t say that it’s a ribeye if it’s not, whoever made this steak was either new or just didn’t know a ribeye,I would never eat a steak there again and I’ve eaten there a long time.Never“

“I had pizza from this place for the first time and “OMG”, it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had!! The dough was crunchy and crispy. It was thick but airy the crust was a French bread homestyle taste. It felt as if I was eating a homemade dish made by grandma! I’m not from around there. My son went to the barber shop next door and decided to get some pizza to bring home. We live about 40 min away and this place by far is the best pizza place. This became our pizza spot!!“

“They are friendly and accommodating, I called a little after six on Christmas eve and found out they closed at six, however they assured me it was ok and took my order and had it ready right away. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of with hot delicious pizza and cookies! Thank you.“

“Tuscany Pizzeria is one of those classic Catskills pizza spots that people end up going back to again and again, especially during the busy summer season.
The first thing you notice is that the place has a very laid-back neighborhood vibe. Nothing overly fancy — just a straightforward pizza place where people come to sit down, grab a slice, or pick up a pie to bring back to the bungalow colony.
The pizza itself is very solid. Good crust, generous cheese, and served hot and fresh. Whether you’re ordering a whole pie for the family or just stopping in for a slice, it’s the kind of pizza that hits the spot when you’re hungry.
Another nice thing about Tuscany is that they’re open later than many other places in the area, which makes it a popular stop for people looking for something to eat after a long day. When most other places are already closing, Tuscany is still serving up fresh pizza.
The place tends to get lively during the summer months, with a mix of locals, visitors, and families coming through. It has that familiar Catskills energy where people are constantly walking in and out, picking up food and chatting for a few minutes.
Overall, Tuscany Pizzeria is a reliable, easygoing pizza spot. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and a convenient place to grab a slice or a full pie when you’re in the Woodridge area.“

“It was my first time here tonight. OMGG I couldn't believe the sign when I walked in the door. first of all, two slices of pizza and a fountain soda for $5. I even commented how I haven't seen those prices since high school over 20 years ago LOL. it was $21 for four specialty slices and two fountain sodas. you cannot beat it! The staff was very friendly. place was clean, and the food was excellent. I said to my boyfriend if I had one complaint. it was that it had too much meat on the pizza if you could believe that LOL. it was over the top! I almost dare you to eat two slices of chicken bacon ranch LOL. keep up the good work guys. Best pizza around“
“Food is amazing! Fast service and possibly the best Bacon, egg & cheese sandwich I’ve ever had! Kudos for having a generator and not skipping a beat when the power goes out!“

“I would totally recommend this family business. Right from the very beginning we were welcomed in with open arms. They are super friendly. The appetizers was delicious- we had cheese -garlic bread and mozz sticks. The meals were so good and you could taste the freshness in the chicken parm and the meatballs were everything and more!!! Our server, Jennifer was a sweetheart. She was super friendly and just so nice. You feel like you are home. I’ve always ordered to go but dining is a great experience. It felt great supporting local in that way. Thank you for your service.“

“I was in Middletown, on my way home ordered 4 large pies, calamari, fries on one of the hottest days of the year and the pizza looked and tasted just right . I ate 4 slices, had to stop myself !!! Calamari was light and crispy, the people are so nice I’ll go back again“
“Motty’s Kosher Bagels & Pizza is one of those classic Catskills heimish spots that people end up relying on all summer long.
The place has a very simple, no-nonsense atmosphere, but that’s part of the charm. You walk in and immediately see trays of bagels, pizza, and different baked goods sitting behind the counter — the kind of setup where you already know you’re going to leave with more than you planned.
The bagels are really the highlight here. Fresh, hearty, and exactly what you want when you’re looking for a proper bagel sandwich. Whether it’s a simple cream cheese bagel or something more loaded, it hits the spot every time.
Their pizza and rolls are also very solid, especially if you’re just looking for a quick bite. Many people stop in for a slice, grab a drink, and they’re good to go. It’s the type of place where families, bungalow colony visitors, and locals all pass through during the day.
Another big plus is the convenience factor. When you’re in Woodridge and want something quick — breakfast, lunch, or just a snack — Motty’s is an easy stop that usually has exactly what you’re in the mood for.
There’s also a nice heimish Catskills vibe inside. You’ll often see people coming in and out, grabbing food to go, or standing around talking for a few minutes while deciding what to order.
Overall, Motty’s Kosher Bagels & Pizza is a solid, dependable local spot. Nothing overly fancy — just good bagels, good pizza, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that fits perfectly with the Woodridge summer scene.“

“Quality + Value + Customer Service. John’s has been my go-to pizza spot since I’ve moved to Middletown. Gourmet GIANT slice (think buffalo chicken, bbq chicken or white slice etc) for only $4.75. I’m always full after 1 slice. I’m from NYC so have eaten at more pizzerias than I can count. John’s gets 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for a no-frills local neighborhood pizza spot! (my photos don’t do it justice 😂)“
