“Whenever in Morris (from RI), I make it a point to stop in at The Gatehouse - sometimes to just look (that never happens as there is always something(s) that catch my eye) or I’m in for something specific. Was in this time with my sister to pick up a really cool framed photo (by Jennifer). While there, Chris showed us “Kosterina, extra virgin body oil” and “Bella Cucina face and body cream”…OMG! What a pamper, not oily yet my skin feels so smooooth! Highly recommend! Also bought a hat!! Always nice seeing Chris and Tim.”

“My partner and I always try to stop here when we’re up in the area. The pizza and main dishes are well made and seasoned. I tried the chicken piccata with broccoli the other night and it was delicious! They have a cooler full of assorted drinks and a small selection of tasty wines for take home too!

The restaurant is always clean as are the bathrooms.

The service is consistently spot on. I always enjoy a hello and chat from Rosario. He has great staff that make everyone feel welcome.

This family owned and run restaurant continues to please.

Parking: Plenty of parking on both side of the street.

“Kelly was an absolute pleasure to work with! She delivered a wedding cake that was exactly what we wanted, and it tasted AMAZING! She was able to make edible flowers on the cake that fit perfectly with our wedding florals. Her prices are very reasonable, and we had absolutely zero issues throughout the entire process. We received lots of compliments on the cake and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We froze the top tier of the cake and are patiently waiting to enjoy it on our anniversary to relive the day and the magic!! I highly recommend using Kelly for your wedding cake or any occasion in general!! Thank you so much!!”

“I started my morning in Oneonta by googling "best breakfast" and Soda Jerks was a pretty universal recommendation. The food (egg Sandwichs and a short stack of their phenomenal ginger carrot pancakes) was delicious, service was wonderful and the space is charming.

The custom sodas are delicious.

“This was a quick stop on way from moving my son from Oneonta College for the summer. The visit was incredible. There was one employee working and she was outstanding, pleasant and quick. We ordered 4 Chile dogs and 3 milkshakes and they were amazing. Chili was perfectly added to the dogs as was the cheese. Taste was on point, fresh. Price was also on point for what you received. The establishment does not have indoor seating but has 3 tables outside back to enjoy if need. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed. Kudos to the young lady who was working that day on a Thursday afternoon, you were AWESOME.”

“This place is an absolute blast to visit and dine in!! They are very welcoming with friendly staff and the menu options are hand crafted for every order, and so delicious!! I would highly recommend checking this place out at least once, and have it become your favorite place to dine in the area!! The owner (Chris) and manager (Caryn) are very accommodating and make every experience special. I am so thankful to have a restaurant like this close to me, such a wonderful experience.
