“We drove just under 2 hours to Stony Brook State Park, enjoyed the day and then decided to get some food at a local spot on the way home and picked High Banks Tavern. The food was really delicious. I would love to eat here again. Very intimate little place with one server taking care of about 10 tables plus the bar and they had non stop take out orders. Our server (younger gentleman) was calm, friendly, and hustlin! Our entire party of 4 couldn't say enough about the cheese curds, they were some of the best we've ever had, two of us agreed. My chicken sandwich was quite good as well, the rosemary fries get the MVP award tho. I am not much of a potato eater but I love rosemary, so I rolled the dice and I think they might be my new standard for a French fry. I loved them. Crispy, warm, and tasty. HBT is a great little place I'd love to be a local! We also really loved the new establishment next door, If you are local or in the area go check out Lewiston Waffles. We couldn't resist when we saw one walk by the window while waiting for our meal so we made sure to save room. Great experience!“

“I don’t remember my waitresses name but she was awesome. Every employee in the facility seemed to be in a great mood. The food came out looking amazing and tasted delicious and again my waitress was a total badass made sure drinks were filled and everything was as it should’ve been.“
