“We arrived at Boston Hotel right before it became busy. Hostess seated us immediately and let us choose the table. Our server was friendly and prompt. Cocktails were ordered. Bloody Mary for my husband and I chose the ice cold blue moon. My husband said it was the worse bloody mary he ever had. Lobster dainties slit broiled were ordered for the appetizer and were delicious. It was a long wait for the kitchen to have our entree ready. My husband ordered the steak medium. It was delivered rare. My crab meal was delicious and cooked to perfection. The home made French fries were excellent. We ordered 2 cheese cake with cherries to take home. Home made! And did not disappoint. Crab was not served with lemon only butter and no wet towlets but enough napkins were provided. The cost of the crab entree was excellent and I received huge claws and enough to bring a few home.“
“We saw the sign about Mac and cheese on our way to work... And stopped that evening lol. It was quite good. HUGE portion! As in we have eaten off it 3x! We got pizza rolls for an app, also good. My husband got the stinger Mac and I got chicken, bacon ranch Mac. I was stuffed and ate maybe 1/4?! We had some for lunch today, and there plenty for dinner left! Staff all very friendly. Food was out at a good pace too.“
“This is a great reason to support local businesses. Pizza is very good and priced right, $5-8 less than the other guys. And it's a solid pie. Wings are another strong point: great sauces, cooked perfectly and a good size.Service is as warm and inviting as it gets, one person nicer than the next. Love taking the kids on the weekends because it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg. This is what a neighborhood local should be.“
“I have made it to order Cubans wherever I go, it's one of my favorite sandwiches. The Cuban Melt at Rookies today was among the best I've ever had. If not the best, a close 2nd. I wasn't even planning on stopping this afternoon for food, but as we were walking by decided to stop in. So glad we did. The server was great. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!“
“Food was fantastic however the service was sub-par. Our waitress maybe checked on us 3 times: once to take our drink order, once for our food order, and when we asked for the check. We were constantly out of drinks and couldn't get her attention despite walking past us numerous “
“The best sports bar in Erie County. Been going there for over 30 years. TV's everywhere. Great food. Pool table, Dart boards, Volleyball/Basketball courts attached. Grab a friend or a group of 20 and feel comfortable watching a game and having a few libations.“
“I absolutely love the food here. I fortunately live close and we often get wings, pizza, and their absolutely incredible fish fry.I’m posting the fish fry as that’s what everyone is looking for right now in lent season. We always get the beer battered and it’s out of this world. It’s just the right amount of batter and it the perfect amount of crisp. The fish was so light and flaky. It comes with fresh cut fries , slaw, and Mac salad. The fries are amazing. This place is a hidden gem, the owners are amazing people and always greet with smile. It is cash only but they do have an atm inside. You won’t be upset with any of your choices !( fry… no wings on Fridays in Lent but you can get chicken fingers if your little ones don’t like fish fry’s)“
“Vinny's is such a great local dive bar. They have great wings for a reasonable price. Their fries are really good too. Cheap beer and drinks. A bunch of TVs all around the whole place to watch football games. They have an indoor and outdoor section so you can have a good time there all year long. They are cash only.“
“Been there numerous times. Food is very good and prices reasonable. The place is clean and well maintained. Service varies from very good to somewhat slow, depending on who is working. All in all, this is a really good place to come and eat.“
“First time here. Very nice menu. Comfortable dining area. Food was very good. Server was great. Prices were very reasonable IMO. Suicidal wings could have used some more but they were good! Wife really loved the fried bologna sandwich and pub chips. Will be back to explore some other menu options...“
“I absolutely loved it here! First time there with my mom to watch the bills game. The atmosphere is amazing. The people working and just the crowd were so great to be around! Definitely going to be one of my favorites! Highly highly recommend.Parking: It’s in a plaza.“
“Came with friends after staying away for many years. They have significantly changed the menu, in a good way. There are options for any taste bud and diet decision. The staff were friendly and attentive and the meals were on-point. Almost forgot that this was a former Perkins. The bar area, while really long, is still a bit narrow when people start waiting for open tables. There is a large drink selection that includes many beers and spirits. My friends ordered specialty cocktails and loved them.“
“Stopped in late last night and was greeted promptly by Chelsy, the bar tender. She was super quick to get my drink made and food rung in. Buffalo Chicken soup was good, though chicken was sparse. The Chicken Cordon Bleu pasta had a good amount of chicken and ham, and a good flavor. Very large portion of pasta! My drink was never empty. Thanks Chelsy!Parking: Over a dozen spots right along the front of the building. Seemed to be other parking nearby.“
“I've been to both locations and they keep outdoing themselves. This new location is great. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and the staff makes you feel like you're part of the family.Parking: They have their own parking lot with plenty of room.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I love the beer battered. Chicken fingers have everything yet, but I'm pretty sure the food is all gonna be really good for a small tever. Very busy place one bartender. 1 person in the kitchen, little bit understaffed, but a good place.“
“Fish fry season and I am so picky when it comes to fish - I loved this fish fry, got to choose 3 sides and it came with a thick slice of marble rye…..looked like a band was setting up so will grab some friends next time and dine in- it was so good, best fish fry I have had in a really long time.Vegetarian options: Several options and they do have the Beyond Burger to add to any saladParking: Plenty of parking in front of the Restaurant it is connected to The Buffalo Airport Hotel.“
“Keglers, located inside Transit Lanes, has fantastic food. That's the bottom line. I never would have suspected it. When I think of food at bowling alleys, I think of roller dogs, and pizza that's been on an aluminum tray in a rotating display for 3 days. Keglers will dispel all of those thoughts for you, if you have similar fears or apprehensions. This is probably the best. Reuben in buffalo.“
“Last weekend we stopped by Champions for the first time for a nightcap, based on a recommendation from my brother that they have great homemade soups. Champions is the bar and restaurant located inside of the OTB. When you enter the main front door of OTB, Champions is up the stairs straight ahead. (I'm not sure if there is an elevator to make it accessible, so call ahead to ask, if you need that accommodation.) There is a large lot with plenty of easy parking. Upon entering the OTB, it definitely has a dingy, dive vibe, with bright unforgiving fluorescents, scattered sad faces, and paper garbage strewn everywhere. And upon entering the restaurant part of the building upstairs, it is essentially the same scene. This doesn't bother me, though; hole-in-the-wall establishments are my people. :-D But if that's not your jam, you've been forewarned. In the restaurant, we sat at a table. I'd say there about about a dozen tables, plus the bar that has around a dozen stools. It isn't a huge space, but with maybe eight other patrons in there at the time, we were all spread out just fine. The bartender was our server, who stayed masked the whole time (thank you for enforcing this health safety precaution). She was wonderfully friendly and fun! She was very attentive, and we had a few good laughs; just my favorite kind of local bar staff. :-) We arrived a couple minutes before 9pm, in time to catch the kitchen before they closed at 10pm. There was chili, plus four more delicious-sounding soups listed on the wall, but unfortunately all contained meat. My husband eats meat, but I am vegetarian. So this time around, NO SOUP FOR ME! ;-) But that was okay, we actually just came from dinner, so I wasn't hungry. The Champions menu mainly consists of fry foods (fries, rings, wings, poppers, sticks, fingers), sandwiches and subs, burgers, quesadillas, salads and soups, and a couple desserts. My husband ordered a bowl of the cheeseburger soup. I ordered a slice of apple pie alamode. I had a diet coke, and he went with the $5 mini-pitcher Coors Light special. The mini-pitcher was about the size of two full-to-the-brim pints. Regarding the food, we were both pleased with our picks. My husband said the cheeseburger soup was excellent. It looked very hot, creamy, and loaded with burger, potato, and other veggies. My pie was delicious. It was a generous warm slice, with a big scoop of fresh ice cream. Overall, we had a great time at Champions. My husbands mini-pitcher of beer was a great deal, and he's ready to come back for another and more soup. Prices are very reasonable across the board, the service was so sweet, and we were both happy with our late-night simple eats. My one star-deduction is because word is out, you have great soups, so it would be nice if one vegetarian option was kept in the lineup most of the time. I am hoping for something like a broccoli cheese, cream of mushroom, or hearty vegetable minestrone next time. Because we'll definitely be back! :-D“
“This Applebee's is great. The food is consistent and all ways great. The burgers are something else here they taste insanely good. If you get the bacon burger than make sure it is well done if you don't like it very fatty. Than there is the chicken tenders. The chicken tenders are great. You can get so many types of sauce on the chicken. But if you get them plain definitely put ketchup on them cause they are sometimes dry. The noodles are very good and the texture is very good. In general very good place to eat.Parking: Sometimes it is very hard to find a spot but you can usually find one.“
“The bartenders are the best! They put with a lot of stuff and always conduct themselves pleasantly. Matty is the best as well. If you're looking for a place with a midage crowd, this is the place for you. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this experience.“
“It was our very first time here, we had a little wait for our table and that was fine by us as we were not in a hurry, I ordered the chicken tenders dinner and my husband got the fish fry, we got an appetizer of chicken wing dip and 2 adult beverages called the Gatorade (which were amazing). I will say hands down some of the best food we ever had. We recommend the chicken wing dip 10,000 times over. And they don't lie they were the best chicken tenders in the world. I couldn't finish it all and had to take some home.. the atmosphere is very family friendly. I love the fact they make a lot of their stuff fresh, the only down side I had was the honey mustard dip didn't taste much like honey mustard, but horseradish. But that's okay it was still good. We definitely will be back, but with the whole family.“
“Enjoyed my first visit to Dandelions. We were seated immediately. Nice atmosphere. Friendly waitress, Nadine, answered all our questions about the menu, gave great input, and didn't mind at all when we changed up our orders!! Food was delicious, awesome burgers, cooked just as requested, great French dip sandwich, good fries and rings. The service was excellent!“
“The Byrd house is my second home. For starters, the staff takes pride and joy in providing great service for each and every customer. The bosses, managers, and employees strive to make each customer’s experience great and memorable. The menu is crafted from quality ingredients and the cooks work very hard to make consistent, quality, and delicious food. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable and casual. I recommend the Byrd house to everyone on this planet.Dietary restrictions: We offer many dietary options for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! There’s even a duck machine in the front to play!Wheelchair accessibility: Back ramp behind the building!“
“Our first time. We're "locals". We will DEFINITELY be frequenting! Had the Shep' Pie. Let me just say, mmm mmm MMM! The beef just melted and the sauce was exquisite! The veggies were perfectly cooked and everything was seasoned JUST RIGHT! No extra salt OR pepper needed!!! Other party members ENJOYED the thinger tenders, and thinger sandwich. (* explanation below)Their list of sauces is just WOW! It can be found on the chalkboard on the wall. ;) The fries, fresh cut of course (delightfully, a common theme of the menu!) Soups were PIPING hot! Also very, VERY good! We will definitely return and sample other items. * - Thinger - the are fresh made and not prepackaged. Party members indicated it was dark meat (thighs) or maybe a 50/50? I can not personally attest to that.“
