“This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! Food ranges from good to exceptional, but their pastries can be hit or miss. Drinks are consistently good in my opinion, my girlfriend is not a fan of their iced coffee which she thinks can be inconsistent. What keeps us coming back is the famous egg sandwich which is pickled to perfection and oh so yum! I don’t think they have enough tables and maybe would benefit from eliminating one or two of the benches to add 2-3 more tables…like a typical coffee house a lot of people seem to work from there and can linger for hours. Service is great. Parking can be tricky when it’s busy, there is a shared lot but it can fill up quickly.“
“This is the best kept secret in PJS. The owners and staff are incredible. The food is always delicious and the portions are huge. They treat everyone like family and know everyone by name. My husband and I go there at least once a week. I can't say enough about this place.“
“... eclectic, off beat ... like eating and seeing live music in an antique store ... very nice peeps ... very light dining ... this is not a heavy menu with piles of food ... small plates ... good bar ... feels like you are at a get together at an eccentric's vintage home ... quirky and cool ... definitely not for everyone ... most people probably won't get it ... but it's cool ...“
“CASH ONLY. This place was recommended to us a while back but on our first venture it was closed! Whoopsie closed on Sundays. Today we learned cash only. It is also a walk up window only. Customer service A+ let us run to an ATM and still put order in. You wait in your car and your items are hand delivered to your window. We tried some stuffed biscuits and they are as fabulous as claimed. And two double cappuccinos with mocha sauce, also delectable. Bonus they offer a punch card, after so many visits a free beverage! With their great service and friendly faces we will definitely visit again... perhaps even sit outside when it is a bit warmer!“
“Scott and staff have catered 3 parties for me and I do frequent the restaurant. They are all wonderful and the food is by far the best in the area if not all of Long Island. If you are looking for creative, delicious food you are in for a treat!“
“Had a great lunch here with a coworker. Views were great and the food was very good. The Thai chili wings and the cob salad, I can attest, are spot on. The only thing keeping this place from five stars with me is the dining room is a bit cramped. Nevertheless, I'll be back with the wife. She'll enjoy it too I'm sure.“
“We LOVE this little gem! We started with coffee and and tea - everyone loved their specialty drinks. Two of us had the Kristin scramble and it was DELICIOUS! Avocado toast and a wrap were enjoyed! The service was great. There's a wait for a table but definitely worth it!“
“Donuts here are different not big in size but they got flavor and they're always freshly made so you leave with something hot or atleast warm. The staff does their best to get the toppings and designs right to make sure your satisfied. They cost a little more but I'd say it's worth it for treating yourself or others.“
“Some incredible bubble tea in Selden! This spot is so cute and very "insta-worthy" with their cute selfie wall and chair. They have lots of board games, so its a great spot to spend some time at for kids and friends. Their boba is so fresh and they have many drink options. They also have bubble waffles that you can customize how you like! Nice addition to the neighborhood.“
“Got some nice unique food options. Nice staff but it does get packed. You can't call ahead to make reservations, you can only do that once you show up. Had a 20min wait for a table so we looked at some of the surrounding shops. We actually got called in 10min.“
“FOOD IS FANTASTIC !!! As someone who is a manager in the food industry and cooks for his girlfriends , this place is great .i can tell this is a family restaurant which is appreciated. The Deli Hidden in the corner by coram diner .I will definitely be back . Thank “
“Intrigued by the signs in the windows exclaiming the benefits of kava, my friend and I strolled into the wonderful world of this non alcoholic bar. Being virgins to this root, we asked for guidance on what to order. This kava is supposed to have the relaxing, mellowing effects of say, Marijuana or even alcohol, but without the detriments that come with those. The young lady suggested a cold kava drink in a coconut cold mug with a slice of pineapple. There's a single, double or triple. She said it's suggested to start high and get the product built up in your system, then go down to single whilst in maintenence mode. We went with the double. We watched her spoon a large spoonful of what looked like, as another patron said, dirty water into our coconut cups! And garnished this dirty water with a pineapple. Bon Appétit! Well I have to say upon the first sip, I was waiting to be repulsed, but it actually didn't have much of a taste. As I got closer to the bottom of the cup, however, I got more flavor.. it was definitely a muddy, earthy flavor. I loved it I have to say. My friend was not a fan. Ha! I guess it's an acquired taste. The atmosphere was very chill. Seems an eclectic crowd. Young, old, parents, singles, white and.. well (us two) black! It was a cool decor. They have board games you can play. Seems a great place to chill alone with a book or laptop. It was dog friendly as well. I think if i lived here, I'd probably be a regular very quickly. Kudos!“
“Laura, our server, delivered exceptional service throughout our visit. Despite the crowd, she consistently checked on us, going above and beyond by even delivering a hot cup of coffee to go. The food was excellent, with a commendable variety of vegan options available. While I do miss the intimate ambiance of the village, the spacious and stunning environment of this newer location is truly noteworthy.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Druthers Coffee takes the egg sandwich to unprecedented heights, offering a unique and delectable twist on the classic morning favorite. Their innovative approach combines fluffy, perfectly cooked eggs with unexpected, gourmet fillings, crafting a breakfast experience that's both satisfying and delightfully surprising.“
“Consistently delicious classic Mexican food! Cheese enchilada's are pure perfection. Margarita's are sublime. The owner is as gracious as can be. Don't hesitate if you are Jones-ing for Mexican food!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes available on menu.“
“Absolutely love Brownstones! Great food and drinks. Always a great experience especially with our waiter Anthony! He always greets us with a smile and we never feel rushed. He has such a friendly personality and demeanor. It was a pleasure having him as our server.“
“I have been to several Starbucks locations, and to be honest, this is the best one if you exclude the Starbucks at Target. Overall, the baristas mostly get my order right. I do not like how the company charges for blender sanitation (I have a dairy allergy.) Overall, I really recommend getting their refreshers, specifically the strawberry açaí lemonade one.“
“Whenever it is takeout the food is DELICIOUS, even though the owners are Dominican, the cooks are from Hidalgo, Mexico and their Mexican food is top quality and good seasoning and the price is regular, it really is not that expensive for how delicious it is. this!!! ??, I RECOMMEND IT!!!“
“The First Starbucks out of over 300 that I have been to. The Port Jefferson Village Starbucks holds a place in my heart. The reason is that when I visited it in the late 1990s or very early 2000s, it was the very first Starbucks that I had ever been to. This was before Starbucksmania. When my friend Andrew and I stepped inside this Starbucks, I was unaware that it was a major coffee chain. It was this past summer, that I returned to the Port Jefferson Starbucks after twenty years. How many Starbucks can I say that about. My family and I hung out here during the later moments of our time in Port Jefferson. If Port Jefferson was without a Starbucks, I doubt that they would build this one in 2023. Back in the late 1990s and 2000s, Starbucks executives had imagination. Their imaginative thoughts created Starbucks outlets that were unique, cozy, and the third place that created a unique Starbucks experience. This location is the antithesis of a Starbucks corporate culture that is striving to be a drive-thru brand that is slamming the hammer on unique locations centered around an environment that encourages hanging out. At the Port Jefferson Starbucks, in place of a drive thru, is a New England style streetscape. Walking along Main Street is the main access to the New England style building that looks nearly identical to when George Washington stepped foot on Long Islands North Shore. It plays a roll in the Port Jefferson experience where people like myself browse at the storefronts, engage in the Port Jefferson Harbor scenery, and take life at a leisure pace. Inside, I feel like I have been transported into a shop in an 1800s fishing village. The interior screams out seaside history and commerce. Regardless that this is a unique Starbucks, the drink is identical to the tall coffee with two Splendas that I have enjoyed in the Starbucks from Port Jefferson in the northeast to Fort Lauderdale in the Southeast and the original Starbucks in Seattle at the Northwest. So is the nearly $3 price. The Port Jefferson Starbucks had made such a first impression on me with the brand twenty years ago that I would go on to visit over 300 more. I hope that the Port Jefferson Starbucks is up for at least twenty more years instead of being replaced with a cookie cutter drive thru - emphasized location beyond pedestrian friendly Main Street, Port Jefferson.“
“My favorite breakfast/lunch spot to go to.All of the staff is amazing, super friendly and fun to be with. The food is to die for, tons of fun new options for everyone.Coffee is exceptionally great as well. Tons of flavors and great creations!10/10 *Kid-friendliness: Great options for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of tables that are handicap accessible“
“Love to stop in here for an iced coffee, cream extra light with sugar free Vanilla or Toasted Almond flavors. I treat myself to a coffee because I really enjoy it, coffee is always fresh and delicious, the service is with a smile and I grab my coffee in under 5 min and I'm back in my car onto my next errand. Would recommend DD for a quick, fresh and decadent coffee that's super convenient on the run!“
“This location had gone through so many staff replacement for two years since they re opened from a fire that shut it down to begin with. This is a great location with better staff, orders are taken correctly. The inside dinning in is large. Great location to come to and get a order done correctly“
“It's incredible that the best service I've ever had with Starbucks is at a drive-thru only location. Bridgette is always an absolute delight and is probably the only person to never get any of my increasingly complex orders wrong, thank you for always starting my day with a smile!“
“The most enjoyable and educational experience ? I had a lovely conversation with the owner. He told me how he grew up on a tea farm in Turkey and all about the different teas, their steeping temperature s and their steeping times, how to bring out the different flavors and enjoy them more. He was absolutely wonderful and I will always go back for his teas. They are incredibly delicious and comforting. Thank you so much!!“
“Dunkin' Donuts in Mt. Sinai is my go-to! The coffee boasts amazing flavor, and the staff always goes above and beyond—consistently hooking me up with great service. A 5-star haven for coffee enthusiasts seeking both taste and exceptional customer care. Can't beat the Dunkin' experience!“
