Beautiful spot to watch the sunset! The sunsets on Cedar Beach never disappoint! There is a full outside sit down bar with delicious cocktails, beer and wine. The food at the restaurant was perfect! The servers were attentive and friendly. Live Music on the weekends. Perfect end to a hectic week!
I always rate apples to apples. If you're looking for high-gourmet, this is not it. If you're looking for simply prepared, fresh food-bingo! We shared the fried combo: everything was fresh, cooked properly, and not greasy at all. You have to ask for tarter sauce, no biggies. Clams were fresh and sweet. Cod, super fresh and juicy. Seating area has shade, but not much elsewhere. Food is somewhat pricey given the fact that it's on the beach. Outdoor bar. You can only drink in the designated areas because of New York State laws. Excellent for laying on the beach and watching sunsets (Note: Long Island North Shore is somewhat rocky).Another side note: Last time I was here the bar area, they had somewhat of a bee issue.
