I had a little issue with my table( too out in the open for me) within 15 minutes she moved us and then we spent $450, I should have just stayed at the original table we wouldn't have spent that much lol. Atmosphere/music was littyyyy. Food delicious, drinks were good, but we did mostly SHOTS! Hookah was strong we loved it, and the staff was friendly. I will be back 4 sure.”

“I have been doing my self care Fridays dining using my Jetblue dining recommendations and this was the next restaurant in line. It was well worth the time and effort to go there. I had the fried calamari and the seafood rice. Both were very well done. I ordered takeout and spent the journey debating if I had a spoon or fork in my bag because the smell was so tantalizing. The portions are very large and could easily feed 3 people. The food was very good and I would definitely go back.”

Even my friend who ordered oxtail, she was raving about it as well. “I got it delivered and was so happy grubhub would deliver to me. The Sicilian Pizza is the best i have had. We added sausage and meatballs to make it a meal. The tortellini soup and eggplant rollatini were both outstanding. The delivery was fast and everything arrived hot and tasty.”

“We decided to return to this lounge for the second time because we enjoyed the first visit.This visit different but mostly fun nonetheless.We sat for maybe 5-10 minutes because the bartender finished her conversation to attend to us.During those 5-10 minutes we enjoyed the Karaoke that was two rum punches which was a whopping $30.That threw me off a bit because on our first visit we order 6 drinks total for $50.Anyway, the rum punches were good, one was STRONG, the other was sweet but you could still taste the liquor.We were then greeted by a second bartender who was more pleasant than the first and more welcoming.She asked questions and checked on us to make sure we were okay.The dj was good but you can tell he’s old school which is fine because the car attracts crowds off all ages.The regulars there participating in the karaoke had great voices, especially the men.I asked about a food menu but was told that the kitchen was closed, this was about 11:30pm Friday night.They recommended a food truck that was parked next to the building that was affiliated with the lounge.The bathroom was very clean and well kept.

We had a party of 7 without a reservation and we were nervous that we wouldn’t be able to get our table. The manager was super accommodating and made room for our party despite already being packed. We were sat right away and service was quick to attend us. We all ordered drinks right away that were nicely garnished and the drinks were all freshly made (no pre-made mixers). We ordered the strawberry flavored hookah and were very pleased with the quality of the hookah and how attentive the hookah boy was. Our food came out fairly fast. I ordered the seafood platter and had 0 complaints, the amount of food for the price was a total surprise! Living in Miami I am used to the large price for a small amount of food. My first time trying these wings in 2008, l can say I wasn’t appreciative of its uniqueness but I never forgot its taste. Yesterday while at my hair appointment I decided to take a walk since it wasn’t far from where I was.

Just wow, it was actually even better than i remember.
Crispy, well done and the sugar just elevates this simple dish 🤤 Also NOTICE how I didn’t mention any other menu items, you can go ahead and try those at your own expense 😊

Bo Bo garden is not updated or upgraded, as this area is non gentrified and still has most of its old shops and establishments (which I personally love)
It is very important to stay organic and very you in a fast paced society & I commend businesses that stick to their original practices they know work for them

But the manager(Female) is not pleasant at all..even towards the employees...I had gone today to do my regular and I made it up to the counter to order and she came from the back to do something and as soon as I and the ppl behind me seen her we exited the store...I hadn't a clue the people behind me were exiting for the same exact reason until we were all outside...

“I finally came here after years of hearing about this place and trying many different options from places in New Rochelle all the way to Nyack. Although the atmosphere is minimal the food is delicious and plentiful. I felt as if I was picking up plates of soul food from my church ladies with the gospel music playing which I did not mind.

I ordered three dinners we tried the fried chicken, collards, yams and one order of mac and cheese that was a mistake we should have gotten more and order of peach cobbler. As my daughter described it she felt like eating this food was like getting a hug from a grandma! None of the food is overly seasoned which my husband and I prefer but seems to be the common mistake a lot of soul food locations are making.

There is a detour near the location which makes parking a little bit of a challenge however, that will not stop me from returning.”
