“I have passed this place thousands of times, but never ate here. I stopped in tonight and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered pizza, 2 heroes and some cannoli's to go. The pizza was excellent and in my opinion, better than the pizza at other nearby restaurants! The heroes also got great reviews!! Although I'm not a huge fan of cannoli's, they were very good and hit the spot :) I have no idea why it took me so long to try this place out, but I will def. be back! The staff was also super friendly.“

The only complaint is that the lasagna wasn't as flavorful as I anticipated. However, my husband's steak was amazing, fried calamari and the garlic knots were to die for! There’s almost always someone in the kitchen tossing dough and loading up the oven. They are consistent in their quality and always friendly and efficient. Other New York area pizza shops aren’t always going to be friendly, but that’s never a problem any time I’ve visited Franco’s. The restaurant itself is tucked away in the back of a shopping plaza and not easily visible from the road. It’s a literal hidden gem for anyone that doesn’t already know about it.The pizza itself has all of the elements you want in a pizza. Dough that is flavorful and thin, but still folds nicely. Perfect and fresh ingredients that are dispersed appropriately throughout the pie. Perfectly browned cheese and a well balanced sauce that’s not overly sweet and well seasoned. They have a nice selection of bottled drinks near the front that are bound to have something you’d love. They do have a selection of pastas, sandwiches, and burgers that I’m sure are great, but I feel like it would be a crime to not get the pizza so I do. If they happen to have zeppoles while you’re there, don’t skip on them. They’re lovely little donuts with powdered sugar that make for a nice dessert that it’s too heavy.“

“In my opinion, Perusia has the best thin crust pizza in town, we also loved the mussels, ravioli, bolognese, & tortellini. We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. From Tappan to Upper Saddle River they brought some of the best "plain" slices I've had since moving to NJ - and it showed up quick, hot and totally in tact. We fking loved this pizza. “Very friendly and attentive staff! This was a great experience. Bread came out with a plate of delicious mozzarella and tomato in olive oil (complimentary). I had shrimp parm that was very tasty. Loved the sauce. I ordered it with the roasted potatoes, and although I thought they were a bit lacking in flavor (need some spice or something), I was so happy that I had a choice of pasta, salad, or potato. My husband had the chicken sorrentino and really liked that too. He ordered it with a salad and that also was good. We ordered two desserts. Cannoli was good, but I've had better. My husband really enjoyed the banana pudding. Then they gave us zeppoles on the house, which we had to take home as we were already stuffed with good food. Highly recommend this place!“

“Who knew there could be so many ways to spice up a meatball sub! When I first moved to the area, a local recommended this place. I was intrigued by all the interesting options on the menu and had to try. Although I want to try everything, I love my usual order so much that I haven’t been able to stray. My go to is the Buckwild Balls Sandwich, which I highly recommend. Sometimes the bread is a little burnt, but otherwise cooked to perfection. I will continue going back and maybe one day I’ll feel adventurous enough to stray from my usual!“

“I stopped into La Bona Pizza after a drive up in Old Tappan and tried a slice of their cheese pizza. It is excellent!. The sauce has so much flavor and that makes the base of the pizza. They are a little on the pricy side but it is well worth it. The rest of their pizzas on display looked really good but they were $4.00 a slice which was a little high for me but there were some creative topping like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti.“

“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

“Some of the absolute best food I've ever had. Fusilli bolognese and spicy rigatoni w/ shrimp are dynamite. Their newly renovated speakeasy is wonderful; they offer their full dinner menu either at the bar or at one of their comfy and intimate tables. The bartenders know what they're doing; their cocktails are delicious! Saturday nights they have a DJ that goes on at 10pm and really gets the crowd going. Highly recommended. Reservations are a must on Friday and Saturday for dinner.“
“Early holiday dinner. We started with a bottle of the Super Tuscan Red Blend. Reasonably priced for a restaurant and delicious. For the appetizers we chose the Caprese Tower and the Calamari (we thought it was fried - instead it was grilled in the sauce). Still a satisfying dish. For dinners we had the Frutta di Mare - one over linguini, the other over the squid ink linguini. We were somewhat disappointed with the pasta being overcooked - this is home made pasta after all. (That explains the four stars.) The third main was the Chicken Scarpariello over penne. No complaints there. All dishes were flavorful and generously portioned. We had leftovers to take home. We finished with coffees and shared the Brownie Ala Mode special. Delicious! Divino's coninues to be an excellent dining spot with the helpful, friendly and cordial staff, pleasant ambiance and delicious food. We will definitely be returning soon.“

“The pepperoni rolls here are somehow the most amazing food on Earth. They had went downhill for a bit - which was still superior to most - but somehow have made a comeback to perfection. Only downside is that I do not live in Croton anymore, and the 50 we bought to take home are now having to be shared with the kids because they too have realized how great they are!
