“I had the best experience with empanadas last week at the Grove City Food Truck Friday event. As a food truck owner myself I know when food is made with love and made authenticity. This food truck is taking me back to my childhood memories. The flavor of the food on this truck is absolutely amazing. My husband and I were absolutely mind blown. “1st time trying. I have tried MANY Chinese food restaurants around this area for over 12 yrs, and never have i been this satisfied! I ordered my usual... Fried dumplings, shrimp toast, combo beef and broccoli, which comes with fried rice and an egg roll. Now for many places thus far, i have never been able to find where all the items were good. Its usually none or one or two of the items i order. ALL of it was very good! I like how you can order delivery directly from their website and pay cash upon delivery (like the good ole days!). And while its not that far, I am in Centereach and this place in in Nesconset, it is about 4 miles away which is not directly in my local area and yet it still got here pretty fast and HOT! I would definitely order from them again based on taste alone!“

“My family has been getting breakfast from this place ever since we’ve moved here 8 years ago and almost everything we’ve got were delicious. The bagels are soft and warm, you could choose from all different types of cream cheese and the breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I would highly recommend the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich which is my favorite item and it’s unbelievable. I definitely recommend going here and you’ll most likely not be disappointed.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “We have dined at Ciro's a few times before. We ordered from the regular menu even though it was restaurant week. Everyone's food was prepared to their liking and enjoyed. The desserts were decadent but quite delicious. The service was slow, but we didn't mind because we were not in a rush. We will be back.“

Our only complaint was that we spent in excess of $200 for dinner and drinks, we were charged .50 cents for an additional dressing for the Baja Chicken bowl. Seriously the management feels the need to charge this after pouring it from a giant container in the kitchen?? We were told that this the policy. Management/owner should review this absurd charge after you spend decent money. This should be absorbed elsewhere and not openly charged to customers on the bill.
$27.00 dish and you cant include two tablespoons of sauce?
