“This is the first time my husband and I visited this diner. The atmosphere was welcoming. The waitress was very nice and attentive to our table. The food was excellent. We had soup for starters. The white bean soup was excellent. My husband had the Turkey, with avocado, lettuce and tomato, and sweet potato fries, while I had the pastrami with Swiss cheese and curly fries. “Just had another GREAT meal at the Westchester Diner in Peekskill NY 10566 today (Tuesday 7/02/2024). My wife had a bowl of Lentil soup (Huge & Tasty) and the Balsamic Chicken salad (Also Huge and very tasty). I ordered the Killarney lunch special (Pastrami & swiss cheese with ale house mustard on fresh rye bread, that came with french-fries, cole-slaw, pickles, and a very nice cup of melted Irish cheese. Both meals were terrific. Our Waiter was very nice and professional and went out of his way to make sure we got everything we needed. I was greeted by MILTON and felt very welcomed, as we walked in and were seated in a nice booth. The Diner was very clean, the decor was very well done, and the many TV's mounted on the walls is a very nice touch. On our way out, MILTON stopped us, asked how everything was, and thanked us for stopping in. I highly recommend taking the family out to eat at the family friendly, clean, and affordable WESTCHESTER DINER in Peekskill NY. The new Owners, the make-over of the Diner, the Staff, the service, the ambiance, and especially the FOOD are all worth it. You won't be disappointed!! My wife and I are very happy to leave this message, and we were not asked to do so. We do it from the heart and call it like we see/experience it. ENJOY!!!!!!“

“My brother, sister and I took a road trip from Staten Island NY to have lunch with another brother that lives in New Windsor NY, and we picked this diner as a point where we could meet and catch up on family and personal chat. What a great choice it was for a lunch spot. I have been to so many diners in my life, but I can honestly say that this was one of the best, if not the best burger that I have ever had from a diner. Really great. My siblings had the same opinion of their selections as I had. And not only was the food great, but the service was also fantastic. Attentive, but not rushed. So friendly. This won't be our last road trip to the All American Diner. Well done.“

Food was mostly good but lost a star because I had a craving for sautéed home fries with peppers and onion but I got soggy, wet, mushy home fries… not really sure how this even happens (if you sauté fresh this shouldn’t happen). I will not return due to this but mostly because I felt the food was overpriced… not sure breakfast food should be $15-17 but with inflation…I suppose.“
