Moved here from Queen several months ago and found the best bagel store in new city. Goldberg’s is hands-down a great bagel place with a wonderful staff.
The bagels are delicious but the service was horrible. It was busy but not crazy. I started to give my order but the cashier walked away to make the 1st item before I could order more. Then he came back to reconfirm it and said the wrong item. I correct him. He walked away before I could ask for anything else. I ordered a gluten free sourdough bread loaf that they just started offering. It tastes and has the same texture as my Italian grandmother's home baked (non-gluten free) bread! One of the things I miss while having to be gluten free is dipping a good piece of bread that won't fall apart into the Sunday Sauce....I did that today and wow, it was perfect!! Thank you Goldberg's for offering such great quality gluten free items..next up for me to try are the gf bagels!
