I’ve had the pleasure of dining at El Jarocho II in New Hartford quite a few times, and from the very first week they opened, the food has been absolutely fantastic, the service has been outstanding, and the atmosphere is incredibly clean and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend El Jarocho II for both lunch and dinner; you’re sure to have a wonderful experience!
I went last night and had the Best Mexican Dinner EVER!
It has a Great Atmosphere, the food is DELICIOUS AND PLENTIFUL!! I ended up bringing home enough for another meal. The Owner was Awesome making sure Everyone in the place had everything they needed and Happy with their dinners. I'll Definitely be going back here!! I rate it 100 plus!!

El Jarocho II Mexican Restaurant and Bar is beautifully remodeled and decorated after purchasing from the prior owner. The music is excellent but not too loud. The Texano burrito is amazing, huge, stuffed with chicken, beef, shrimp, rice, peppers, onions, beans, pico, smothered in queso, topped with fresh slices of whole avocado. The chips and salsa are fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly, attentive, accommodating, and amazing. Murals are beautiful and decorations pretty. Real Mexican music plays. Food is excellent, fresh, very flavorful, and is considered the best Mexican food in the Utica area. Great atmosphere, great value, and many options. The restaurant is clean, smells so good, and the owner/server is professional and friendly. Sizzling plate of pollo fundido has great presentation; more flavor/cheese would be nice. Many customers say it is a favorite and worth returning.
