The food was really quality, creative and curated compared to anything on city Island. They definitely would not sell tilapia Frankenfish here. It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. “Made a reservation, and first impressions were good. the first seating they placed us had a broken table so they moved us which was nice they let us pick any spot. the place had Good ambiance with good music that set a good vibe and plenty of tvs to watch sports game. The service was good too our waiter always stopped by to check on us if we need anything. they also gave good recommendations on the menu. the beverages like the mule were good and the food was okay, albeit a bit overpriced for the area. we got quesadillas, wings, sliders, and 2 basket of fries with plenty of drinks. they also tacked on a mandatory 20% gratuity for a party of 3. the beverages were pretty good i enjoyed it. i'll definitely come back !“

Great liquor selection as well as beer and other beverage selection they are open till 3 AM and always have great music you can play games at the bar and they have a great selection of things to eat and the kitchen is open super late as well which is really great especially after long concerts at the Capitol theater this is always a great place you don’t have to rush to get out and eat some thing. “It's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were in the Glen Head and Sea Cliff area. We decided to have a light lunch locally. My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. The Mr Dre burger was huge and delicious. The chimi was on point and really large for only $6. The only complaint is that the chicken teriyaki was a bit on the saltier side. And it’s not as if he was busy - he was standing at the end of the bar chatting with other customers for about 10 minutes without paying attention to the other 4 people at the bar.
