“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

The only annoying part, and not worth deducting even 1/4 of a star, is the pushy “ we need your entire order right away because everything is made to order” jargon. They do it to speed you along as you can’t get your apps until you order your main meal. But even with that and not having a reserved table ready on time - this place is 100% worthy of ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!“

“Came here for a birthday soirée that was in a private room, the room was lovely and cozy and perfect for the event, the appetizers were great, the food was great the service was less then desirable. The cocktail menu was great and the drinks I actually got were divine but the wait for them and the mood of the server was less then desirable especially for a birthday party, she treated us as if we were a hindrance and we were bothering her by asking her for drinks. Usually, when booking a private party, you get the best of the best as your server if this was their best, it definitely was not good enough.“

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

“Hands down the best tacos I’ve had all year!

Tecas Tacos is a food truck parked right outside Flower Park in New Rochelle, and it is absolutely worth the trip. I tried the beef tongue taco for the first time, and it blew me away. Slow cooked for six hours, it was unbelievably tender and flavorful, topped with fresh onions and salsa verde.

I also had the quesabirria (birria quesadillas), which came with a rich consomé for dipping, insanely good. The al pastor taco had that perfect pineapple pork combo, and the steak and birria tacos were on point too.

Everything was bursting with flavor, and I washed it all down with a cold Mexican Coca-Cola in a glass bottle, the perfect touch. If you’re a taco lover or just someone who appreciates authentic, high-quality street food, this truck is a MUST.

“Went for Sunday brunch with my dad & boyfriend. The food was absolutely amazing, but the thing I wanted to mention was the service we experienced. From the welcoming hosts at the front desk, to our AMAZING server Amani, and the manager Arod coming to greet us and ensure our experience was good, we felt so welcomed and taken care of. Amani was an absolute pleasure to be serviced from and extremely attentive. Arod was also a sweetheart for ensuring we had a great time. Great staff and would love to come back for them!!!“

“We had a great experience dining at this cozy spot! While there’s mainly street parking, there is a parking lot conveniently located nearby. The atmosphere was charming and intimate, with seating for about 50–60 guests.

The staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming, which really added to the overall positive experience. Since this was a smaller location there were fewer staff members however we got seated within 5 minutes. We were served complimentary chips and salsa to start, which was a nice touch. For our entrees, I ordered the dinner combo and my husband had the fajitas. Both meals were delicious and came in generous portions. The only small drawback was that the fajitas came with fewer tortillas than expected.

One thing to note is that some basic items like napkins and sauces weren’t readily available at the table—we had to ask for them, but the staff was quick to bring them once requested.

Although the general tso chicken combo i got yesterday was a bit heavy handed with the chili which is normally not as spicy. It is not normally as spicy and even tho this time was really spicy the flavor was good but since i had them deliver it to my boyfriend since he works vallet i didnt get to eat til an hr later and they were closed so i couldnt call so i had to switch with my boyfriend which he got sesame chicken combo and that was really good. This was the only time ive had any small complaints so next time i will remember to tell them less spicy just in case.Will definitely order again and again“

“Very flavorful food. The food here tastes home-cooked. It is well-seasoned and flavorful and well-prepared. We tried the king fish dinner - seasoned to perfection, excellent texture. We also tried the spinach patties. These were the best I’ve had in years - very flavorful spinach (nice bit of scotch bonnet) and it was not mushy or soggy. Nice spinach-to-crust ratio. The crust was very nice. Crispy and hearty with good flavor. Great customer service.“

“from minute we arrived the hostess was very rude and unaccommodating (we made a reservation days in advance) put 5 people at a table for 2 our server could not speak English and constantly kept disappearing for exorbitant length of time took us hours to get a drink.... Midway through our meal they made us switch tables literally while we were eating to accommodate another party ...that being said however the food was delicious and the DJ was great but the service was horrible automatically added a $50 gratuity which totally did not deserve and overcharged us for alcohol and dessert“
