“I was pleasantly surprised by the café tucked inside the outdoor museum. You don’t usually expect museum dining to be memorable, but the food here is genuinely excellent. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked—far beyond what I anticipated. The BLT, too, stood out with its crisp bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes layered on hearty bread that tied it all together. Both dishes were satisfying and flavorful, the kind of quality you’d expect from a standalone restaurant rather than a museum café.“

“Great little space with a really delicious variety of food that you can tell is made thoughtfully. The menu is “of the moment” which I love, and vegan options are available, as are some gourmet pantry items. It’s a micro business so expect the owners to be there taking care of you, but also pay attention to the social media before you go as they are sometimes closed when they need to be elsewhere. Honestly can’t wait to go back and try more food!!“

“Today I visited The Main Course & purchased a good size order. All of the employees are always so nice. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Tim. He is most courteous and kind to all customers. Packs the orders so neatly. Such a friendly and professional disposition. He is such an asset to this business. I witnessed him taking orders and was so impressed. They have recently done renovations and upgraded to up-to-date state-of-the-art cozy atmosphere with the same good and delicious menu as before.
We also have plenty of parkings, which makes it easier for the customers.

“This place is an actual gem. I stopped by on what was arguably probably their busiest day this whole year and unfortunately had to leave before I could order. I came back the next day and not only did the co-owners remember me and apologize for the long wait time, they had surveyed almost everyone in line in order to get ideas on how to improve the wait time and ordering process and it worked! Truly so impressed by this level of customer service and dedication to your business. It’s so rare to see that these days and it’s why small businesses are the heart and soul of a town. On top of that, my drink was fantastic, the place was sparkling clean with a super calming atmosphere, and all of the employees were 100% on it, even towards the end of another insanely busy day. Kudos to battling a worldwide matcha shortage, increased popularity from TikTok, and a super busy fall season. I will be back every time I’m in Beacon!“

“We came to Cold Spring for the first time to hike and before starting our adventure, we came across this place.

It looks amazing this place! cute both inside and outside. Really welcoming and cozy.

We started with a cup of coffee and then we ordered the shakshuka to share. Everything was delicious. The service was really good. We even had the pleasure to meet the owners from which you could understand the level of quality and service of this place. Taking over in a very small town with such a unique combination of dedication and passion to create such a great place and ambience for everyone to enjoy while being there!

Everyone in the staff are wonderful and friendly, attentive. A true gem of the Hudson Valley. “Ordered online today and got a text saying my order was ready. I ran in to get my order and it wasn’t on the shelf. I headed over to the pickup counter and the manager asked if I needed help. After explaining the text and food not being there she quickly looked for my order. While she was looking I ran out to turn off my truck and as I was headed in the door there was the manager again with my order and a big smile! “I visited Beacon awhile back and came across this lovely cafe. The ceasefire sign brought me right in and Wow! I’m a sucker for scones and the ones here are delicious 🤤 and what…. A baklava latte!! Omg that’s a first! LOVED LOVED the shirts the crew wore. I just felt like I was “home” so Def making this my stop next time I’m back and I’m coming early for a sit down brunch.
