Absolutely great deli with great food, service and great prices. Brooklyn island sandwich and breakfast wrap are personal favorites. Fresh sliced fruit for $3-4 a container as well.
I love coming to the 9th Avenue Deli for all my meals. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Not wanting something fried for dinner, I decided on one of their Chicken Salad Club sandwiches. The sandwich was huge. The chicken salad was made of poached chicken breasts and the salad was made of these chunks of the chicken with celery and spices with light mayo. Skip it, find another deli. My companion and I stopped in for a standard pastrami sandwich on a deli roll and this is what we got on October 23, 2022 about 3:00 pm. Attitude from the man who took our order, asked three times if we wanted it hot or cold. Mmm, no big deal but unfriendly. Meat was shaved so thin, it was tasteless, bun was whipped with so much air when it was made it was texture less. In summary, skip it!
