Customer service/lady at the register was very polite and helpful. She had a long line and still willing to help out with my questions. Orders a large hot coffee, and a croissant with ham and cheese ( served hot). And at the register, you receive a breakfast sandwich and coffee discount in the morning. Can't go wrong.

It's Ok. Not as spacious. Employees are friendly and there's plenty on duty. I'm not fond of the seating accommodations. They don't have a bathroom. I guess you must use a public bathroom in Penn Station. I'm not staying for lunch. I see the same menu items but don't feel comfortable here. Sorry Au Bon. I'll stick to my regular locations. Macy's and Rockefeller Center.

Most Au Bon Pains are created equally. This one, in the concourse of Penn Station is particularly small and configured in an awkward manner allowing one to bump into others. Although there seems to be enough seating, it is mainly grab and go. Au Bon Pain seems to be passe' and back in the day, they were known for their baked goods.
