Bar Primi is a fantastic restauarant with limited seating in this location, making it a great casual date night spot (most of the time). Service is impeccable, and the staff has always been attentive and kind. I've taken dates here with mixed results; a smaller front room makes for a loud experience occasionally when you get seated next to a table of younger East Villagers. My nephew, his wife and I had a fabulous time dining at Primi Bowery. Where to even begin? The host set the tone with his welcoming personality and was so accommodating re: our table choice. We dined upstairs (the restaurant is beautiful) and the service was phenomenal. Every five minutes our water glasses were being refilled (which I love). We ordered a bunch of apps and ended up sharing a pasta and fish entree too. Onward to two desserts to celebrate a birthday! I cannot recommend...
My wife and I love this restaurant - the food is amazing, wine and cocktails are great, and the service is fantastic. It's also my go-to Italian restaurant when my gluten-free family members are visiting.
